L.L. Bean

Every already knows Bean's place is great, right!? Last night I spent a couple of hours in the fishing department getting assistance from a very knowledgeable employee, Dan, the whole time. Answered my questions and got me set up perfectly, and sent me home to figure out my inventory instead of selling me something I didn't need. I left with fly and spinning gear, and my wife found shoes for her hard to fit feet. If you didn't know before, you do now: Bean's service and products are great. There is likely no one you would rather work with more than someone from Bean's. BTW, we stayed in our camper overnight. Head down the hill to the lots near the train station that don't display No RV signs or security will kindly offer to show you the way. 😉

Giant campus with everything imaginable LL Bean! It is composed of individual buildings dedicated to different themes, like home, retail, kayaking. It is incredibly fun to walk through and see everything you find in the catalogs come to life. Everything is LL Bean quality and decently priced. Free parking lot, many photo opportunities, need at least 2 hours to walk through, friendly and energetic service.

What a fun place! They have so much stuff to check out. It's impossible to leave without something! My favorite part is the wall of catalogs upstairs on the wall. It's so cool to see how they've changed over the decades. If you're up this way definitely stop by. There's a ton of parking out back and it's a quick walk to everything.

LL Bean is a Maine staple. Unfortunately they know that too. The store is a fun one to walk through. It's cool to see the fish and the taxidermy. They do have some nice stuff here too, with good quality. Sadly, the prices are simply way too high. The items aren't backed by Bean like they used to be, and you can get the same or better quality elsewhere for cheaper. Do your research before buying here to avoid wasting your money.

This store was unbelievable and the moose display was awesome. Whatever your camping needs are, you will find it here. The sale associate were professional, courteous, and friendly. Highly recommend visiting and shopping here. 👍👍
