La Fonda Mexican Foods

I've been a customer for over 16 year's so I must put in my 2 cents. The food has been consistent all these years. (The secret to their success I'm sure.) While there's no dancing waitresses or valet parking, there is great traditional Mexican food. My usual is a #14. Enchilada, picaro, taco w/ beans and rice. Yum!!!! Definitely recommend. This is one of the most popular area resturaunts though I haven't found it to be as good as others do. The enchiladas are good. The chips and salsa are not my favorite.

We just left this place and are beyond disgusted. The place has bars on the windows, not a huge concern but it also tells me it's not quality. The server/waitress had that "what do you want attitude". Anyway, since the dishes coming out didn't look appealing we ordered something basic, fajitas for two. The beef and chicken mix. OMG, DISGUSTING. I'm not sure if the beef was just rotten or was it even beef. All I know is I had one piece of the beef and immediately removed it from my mouth. I strongly suggest/encourage that you dont go here. You will regret it. We are from the East Coast, NJ and are on a 7 month tour of the west coast and are trying out different restaurants. So far this one has failed from the beginning to the end. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

Absolutely delicious! Great complementay chips and salsa while you wait for your meal.Wonderful service. We love coming here.

Wonderful Mexican food. Fast service but not very friendly staff. The last time I went I almost felt like I needed to apologize for bothering them by my being there. It was about 11:30 on a Tuesday and they weren't busy yet so I'm not sure why we got attitude from the waitress.
