The booth is really small so only 2 people can enter at a time. The gentleman and lady helped me to pick out the right chocolate. I didn't realize how expensive it was. However, the chocolate was superb .Food: 5/5
One of my favorite shops to hit when I’m in the mall. Everyone I’ve dealt with there has been so knowledgeable and kind. The chocolate is absolutely divine, I’ve tried just about everything in there so you can take my word for it
Long time customer of MDC here. Rude associate denied me entry to the kiosk store pointing me to the sign outside saying lunch break 3-4pm peak time on a Saturday. I have nothing against lunch breaks but if you want to take one, it’s better to take it during regular lunch hours 12-1 usually and leave the store. The associate was sitting inside on her phone and not even eating. The worst part is I had passed by yesterday when she was there and said I would come back tomorrow to pick something up. She didn’t even stand up or talk to me, just pointed me to the sign. So disrespectful. I just got out of Läderach to buy my friend her birthday gift and I had a much better experience. The associates there were courteous and friendly, they welcomed me with a smile, not with attitude. If you want be treated with respect, I don’t recommend going to MDC Columbus.
Tried to sell me a box of chocolates with a best before sticker indicating the following day. Fortunately I noticed and brought right back - swapped for a box with a sticker indicating 2 months later - but the salesperson acted quite annoyed with me for doing so, and did not apologize at all. Unacceptable to be peddling old chocolate at this price point.
Unlike that weirdo, I actually understand that if they’re on break it’s their own personal time, whether they eat or not if I see the sign and no one’s available I’ll just come back sometime later. Ive never had any issues with the employees there. I was satisfied with what I bought.
Had a very enjoyable time in this shop today!! The lady working, Hannah, was extremely helpful and impressively knowledgeable about the chocolate.
I love La Maison du Chocolat. They have the best orangettes. I have searched far and wide for any that compare, but can't seem to find any. That being said, their chocolates and macarons are wonderful too. This location is more of a kiosk than a store. This was the only location I could get to on my last trip to NYC. They carry most of the chocolates, but don't have any macarons or pastries. They do have the all important orangettes in all three sizes, so I left pretty happy.
The woman working there was very harsh when we tried to enter to see which products were available. She was claiming that it was too crowded with just 3 of us
Fantastic chocolate Shoppe on the main floor Hall. Perfect last minute gift idea. House warming on another level. Gourmet, but at a cost. Well worth it for the occasion.
So bummed they didnt have the Andalusie in box!
