Went here to pick up a panini to go. The staff was very friendly and my order came out fairly quick. I got a tomato mozzarella panino which was delicious and it came with a small side salad. I would go again for a sit in meal and try the pizza next time I'm in the area.
Pizza is very good, my server not so much. She is very disconnected really didn't care about her service. It was busy because it was lunch I get that, however still make me feel welcome. Honestly it was my first time here and the only reason I would come back would be for the pizza. Probably a lesson in hospitality would do ther server some good. I like the atmosphere this place has, the wood panel on the walls, the masks on the wall twords the back and the color scheme give it a nice urban downtown vibe. seating is a little different , being that I was seated in the back by the wood used for the oven. So if you want a good pizza I'll say a little over priced but it's downtown so thats expected and average service at best this place is for you.
Wow! When ever we’re in town we make it a point to stop in at this delicious place. Margerihita pizza is delicious. The caprese salad appetizer is accompanied by a balsamic which is fantastic. And the fried mozzarella is excellent. You can’t go wrong eating here.
Amazing food! Easily the best calzone I've ever had anywhere in my life. This is a must visit restaurant. This is pizza and pasta done right.
While visiting Phoenix during the summer, this placed was highly recommended! Found it to be very quiet as we were the only customers on a Tuesday night. The staff was very friendly and the pizza was delicious. I recommend sharing one because they are very filling.
In town for a convention and wanted something super close to the Hyatt and La Piazza was just around the corner. Everything on the menu sounded amazing - but finally had to decide. For an appetizer we had the Palle di Riso cripy risotto balls stuffed with prosciutto, mozzarella, and red onion topped with arugula and a little red sauce on the side. Amazing!! The balls were super crisp and tender at the same time with the melty stuffing mixture. The arugula added a nice earthy pepper flavor to the dish. I had the Italian Stallion meat pie pizza. The crust was executed amazingly in their wood fired oven with a crisp cracker feel on the bottom with a soft pillowy texture in the center with light yeast and salt notes coming through. The mozzarella was appropriately stringy and the different meat flavors were wonderful. Service was excellent for a group of twelve hitting them all together. Will be back...
Amazing pizza. Cool little restaurant. It looked as if it was being remodeled while we were there. But that didn't take anything away from the pizza
My favorite downtown spot for Amazing pizza and Italian food. Justin the owner is a pizza master. Our favorite is the "Italian Stallion Pizza" Great spot for lunch or dinner.
We stopped at this place with with out reading reviews without even knowing about this place. It did not disappoint. I had the “Italian stallion” and wife had “Bianca”. Both were really good pizza. The crust was crispy on outside and fluffy with a salty hint flavor. Really Good dough.. the sauce was a bit runny but did not kill any vibes. I will definitely come back to this joint. I highly recommend it. 3 pizzas, meatball appetizer and more than a few beers came out to a total of $120.. not bad at all. Minus one star just for house keeping of place on way to restroom. Food was great, but always room for improvement. Service was excellent, alway on point with our drinks.
Delicious Carbonara. Cannoli was good. Busy night, but still great service!
