My wife and I were very happy with our food choices. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. The calamari appetizer was probably the best calamari I've had from any restaurant. The service was also very good and our waiter was very attentive.
The ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful, it's intimate enough but also has the social setting. They accept reservation and also they take walk ins. We did walk in on a Friday evening and got seated right away. The waiter was attentive and the staff were overall very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious we had the pasta and man oh man the sauces were amazing. Make sure you get the oooh gueey desert it's to die for if you're a fun of cheesecake. The prizes were fair for a nice upscale restaurant. It's located inside Hilton hotel on the main floor in the corner. Bon appetit
A great dining experience in downtown, tucked away in the Hilton Garden Inn, then place is underrated. I had a custom made cocktail and steak and pasta, as well calamari to start. Stop by if you are in the area or doing a late night in downtown. I didn't have room for dessert so can't tell you about that. But will return soon.
Visited here for a nice little meal. Everyone was extremely nice, and food was excellent. For the presentation, food, and atmosphere, the price was surprisingly cheap. To give an idea, including my $15 dollar tip, I ended up paying about $100 for a four piece bruschetta appetizer, two meals, and dessert. The pizza was only about $15, and the bruschetta appetizer is usually only two pieces, so we could have very easily spent much less. Regardless, for everything we got, it was very well worth it.
Ambiance is lovely! We ate late 10pm, so it was dark outside and the lighting inside perfectly complimented the city lights and vice versa. Margaret was our server - she was wonderful! Sweet, kind, quick, friendly - everything you'd want in a server, especially when you are the last table to walk in at the end of the night, Ha! No wine or cocktails tonight shock! We started with a half order of the bruchetta which was beautiful. The bread was perfect. The crust was not too crunchy that it would hurt to bite down, and the center was just toasted enough so that nothing would soak through and get soggy. PIZZA. New World Margherita. Again with the crust! Crunchy enough so that it's not soggy, but not a slab of hard inedible bread. Crunchy outside, warm chewy inside. Buttery deliciousness. Creamy, melt in your mouth mozzarella and sauce. Great balance of crust to toppings to sauce. Even though I was SUPER full, I had to finish it. I can't wait to have it again. Ok, their seating. They're traps! But the most comfortable ones. I sat in a teal high-back chair that you can sink back into after your meal
Stylish, delicious, and great staff. Highly recommend visiting to start the night for drinks and an appetizer. We had glasses of white wine and enjoyed a pizza and salad. Everything was fresh and came out really fast. Otherwise stay for a full course dinner. Don't forget that the restaurant is in a 1920s building with great detail and design.
Last night, my wife and I went here for the first time. She had the gluten free gnocchi and she loved it. I had the Spicy Vegetarian spaghetti and Bootleggers drink see attached photos. The food was flavorful, drinks were perfect! I’d go back again
We came to Nook kitchen for the first time before the Billy Joel concert. The service was extremely slow, but the waiter was friendly. That being said, the salads and pizza where are delicious and I highly recommend the arugula salad. We will definitely return on a slower night!
We had appetizers, drinks and pizza. My wife had a house salad with the creamy Gorgonzola dressing. Everything was to die for! All super fresh. The bruschetta is all very good we got a couple half orders to sample. Caprese pizza also amazing.
I was skeptical at first with higher prices and I wasn’t super hungry. This restaurant completely turned my opinion. At first impression it was dark with a wobbly table. Our waiter was amazing, he had a great attitude and he noticed the table issue and fixed it right away. Then with prices being a little higher, we wanted amazing food and we got just that. Portions were huge, pizza was a 12” Margarita and my husband had the huge bowl Poutine. He confirmed his was as delicious as mine. We will definitely be coming back here for future celebrations to get more entree style meals. Sorry for the dark picture
