Take tasty vegan options. Order the vegan pupusas. Although the last time I was there, they didn't have vegan cheese. Still quite good. My usual order is 2 or 3 vegan pupusas per person plus an order of plantains. Super good.
Only the fifth time I've ever had Salvadoran food, and this was by far the best. Papusas were incredible, fried plantains unreal and the home made Michelados were fantastic.
I love their fried plantains and sweet corn tamales. Been craving both for a few weeks and can't wait to satisfy my craving.
The pupusas were excellent! The woman is lovely and so friendly. I will absolutely come again.
Seriously the best pupusas. The owner is amazingly sweet, and her food is 10/10. I'm a transplant, and these pupusas taste like home to me. I 100% recommend La Puerta. You get a lot of food for a great price and it tastes like love.
Fatima is a very nice person and makes an excellent pupusa! A pupusa is a Salvadoran treat. Homemade tortillas stuffed with your tasty choices, then served with a traditional coleslaw called curtido. To eat, slice open one side of a pupusa, and spoon curtido into the opening.
These were the best pupusas I've had around here. I had the pupusas combo with platanos and everything was amazing. They added a lot of fresh loroco to the pupusas. They were extremely friendly and we will definitely be returning when we're in the area.
Get in here!!! Food made with some serious love. Comfort food and perfect for lunch or dinner. I ordered the carne and it was flavorful with several fun accoutrements. The pupusas were the star of the show and hard to stop eating even if you're too full. Can't wait to come back.
