We had to move to another room due to the filthy unclean floor. The second room was better but the floor was a filthy dark carpet; therefore, the dirt was not readily seen until my girls walked barefoot and got ready to sit on side of the bed…feet were filthy. This hotel does not vacuum the floors. We had to put hotel towels on the floor all around beds. Moreover, I would not dare eat the free breakfast nor ask for extra towels after this. Needless to say, we went shopping at Walmart for towels and bed covers to place on top of the covers…didn’t trust under the sheets either. I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend it to anyone. Oh yeah, the pool was none functional and had green standing water which indicate that this pool has not been in use for a while. Code violation… breeding ground for mosquitoes for sure. Parking area too dark. Well! The front desk clerk was very kind. I stayed because of her and the location. Thank God for McDonald’s across the street!!! After all, it was not clerk’s job to make sure this hotel is cleaned properly; this is the hotel manager’s job. Someone in higher places really need to pay this hotel a visit. The location is great; just need better management, less street people hanging around at driveway; and more professional cleaning staff to truly clean and sanitize the rooms. This hotel has great potential to be a great place to stay and money maker of course. But not as it is. Remind us when the under new management sign goes up AND rooms are cleaned professionally; so, we can check it out. We visit Little Rock often and this hotel was a bad experience for our family.
The front desk ladies were great but this hotel was NOT AT ALL what I expected. Everything about this stay was bad!! The garage in the back with no secured parking, no working gate and homeless gentlemen that are just "hanging out" to the misrepresentation of how our stay would be based on the lobby area. I couldn't even take pictures of our room because I was too upset! Mildew around d the tub, stains in the toilet, dirty sheets and paint peeling of the walls. We literally slept on top of the covers with all out clothes on and my hoodie over my head! Yes, we cut this stay short and left bright & early the next morning! I was so disappointed - although it sits in the middle of everything - it's still not worth staying at. Sorry, but one star was too much!!
NEVER EVER BOOK HERE!!! There was mold all throughout the room. The sheets had not been changed from the previous guests huge sweat stains?. The bathroom was atrocious like it had never been cleaned and once again mold. The smell made it hard to breathe. When I came to check in there was no one at the front desk. Then when I tried to call the front desk no one answered multiple times. Honestly this place made me feel super uncomfortable and unsafe. This place deserves to be shut down. It’s a health and safety risk to even stay here. Shame on whoever owns this place yet I don’t think they care based on the other reviews I’ve read.
I stayed here for a night while passing through Arkansas. It's a nice place, nothing spectacular, but it's comfortable. Of course, pets are welcome, but because of its location near the heart of the city, there is only a small area to walk your dog without going down a street. There are a few fast-food joints within walking distance, but they generally close around 9:00, so adjust your dining schedule accordingly. It's relatively close to the heart of downtown Little Rock, but it may be a little far to walk for some people, but then a cab ride to downtown will be relatively inexpensive. I would definitely stay here again, simply because of the location, which is its best feature being close to the Interstate and not far from I-30 or the capitol or several other tourist attractions like the museums and shopping or the airport.
1 star. The hotel staff were a little short about having no rooms available to move me to if there was an issue, I have no problem with that just don't need an attitude. The room was adequate. Broken dresser, the charging ports on the night stand block didn't work, no towels and the floor were very stained. When I asked about getting towels I was told they were being washed and would be ready in about half an hour, I finally got the 2 hours later. Also the breakfast is a joke, got a better breakfast across the road at McDonald's. I will not be staying at this location the next time I am in Little Rock nor would I recommend it.
For 90 a night you'd think they'd have a working TV at least and when I'd requested an HDMI cable for the room since theirs was missing, I was told a maintenance person would come. Didn't happen for over an hour towards two. I offered to just get the cable and do it myself so the guy wouldn't have to do it but nope. The maintenance guy was really nice though. The window in my room had smears all over it and wasn't cleaned. The parking garage is trashed and there was rotting food in the elevator. Finding a working ice machine didn't happen. Cleaning and observations of if rooms are ready are completely missing. We've used this hotel for years when we've been in town for medical reasons at Children’s but I think I'm done. It has only gotten worse and worse as time has gone on.
I got exactly what I paid for. It never claimed to be the Ritz, but also wasn't a roach motel. Overall it met my needs, so I'm satisfied with my stay. $15 ride from the airport, within walking distance to bars. I was only there for like 16 hours. Comfortable bed, nice TV, bathroom was a little dated, but other than that, I'd stay here again without hesitation.
Dirty rooms, sheets had tears in them, door latch was broken, barely hanging on. Grab a towel and a roach was on the wall. Had to change rooms, due to room was disgusting. The entire place needs and overhaul. Their so called Bright Side Market, had nothing in it and staff was very unprofessional. Went to breakfast and pretty sure a homeless guy was getting breakfast also. I am ok, with helping others, but at least have a separate section versus paying customers. Did not feel safe with my young son, parking deck, made me feel that I need to carry a gun. I at least had my stun gun on me. Not worth the $$ at all, spend a little more and go somewhere else.
Only positive things I can say about my last two stays here are that it's in a convenient location, has free parking, and the prices aren't unbearable. Rooms were barely cleaned before I got there both times. TV didn't work both times. And the last stay there were NO towels! I asked for some but they never brought any. Had to dry my hands with kleenex. Didn't even bother with a shower. Had stayed here a few times in 2021, and early 2022, and it wasn't this bad. Not great, but worth what I paid. Lately it has gone way down hill, and the staff were less than helpful. I'll be looking for another place for future visits to Little Rock. What a shame.
As soon as you enter the building you can tell it’s old, worn down and unclean. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. The garage left something to be desired. The elevator also had wire showing was very old and unkempt. I had no towels. There was no breakfast really. There was coffee, apples, and then staff brought some cheap slices of bread and mini muffins. They need to redo this hotel. It’s in sad shape.
