La Saj Lebanese Bistro

Good food but they hire incompetent people for packing carryout. They always forget to give the cream sauce with the chicken cream chop. Talked with the hostess and she either offered for me to drive all the way back there to pick it up or from here on out they would never forget to give it to us in the future. Wait... What? They will guarantee to do there job better the next time? Interesting. Maybe next time I will not do my full job as a customer and give 80% of my bill. What a world we live in.

Service is quick and food delicious. The bread here is well done and tastes awesome with the garlic paste which is lighter than typical. We ordered salad and a few vegetarian dishes as well as sheesh kabob. The salad was slightly underwhelming, the others good. A bit noisy..It was Friday night and packed.

Always good when dining in.. take out tonight took 40 minutes. Get home and missing items. How does that happen? I explain exactly the order and written down. I pay for it and am missing the fatoush salad and no onion in the kebbie. Would it be acceptable if I didn't remember to pay for the food? And to top it off, I gave a tip on a carryout. You would think that would ensure a bit of extra care on making sure done right. This place is tops but this is unacceptable.

Significant change in quality of service and food. Loved this place for the first couple of years since it opened with white linen tablecloths, traditional male waiters like in Europe, and nothing served in plastic. Now garlic spread served in plastic dish but it's free, no tablecloths, and average to below average service. Doesn't stand out anymore like it used to attract a crowd.

Always have delicious food here. Service is hit or miss. We have good service 70% of the time. The manager runs a tight ship and is very prefessional. Food is great, healthy, and fresh. The garlic dip is the best in the metro Detroit area. I recommend the seasoned chicken salad, lentil or vegetable soup, and the chicken schwarma wraps. My husband always gets the lamb and he prefers the hummus. It is the creamiest hummus around. Would recommend this restaurant to others and we do bring people here.
