Great atmosphere, and location in downtown Rockville. Place was packed, and I'm not surprised because food was excellent. If you are curious about trying Spanish food you should try it for sure. And when I say Spanish food I mean Spanish food, not Mexican or Central American, but from Spain. They have a good selection of alcohol as well. I took my teenage son and he wants to go back again he really enjoyed trying new food.

Great wine selection. Good party scene on a Friday or a Saturday. Although it’s small, still a fun atmosphere. Their Happy Hour is great. Half priced pitchers will have you dancing all around. The best part about this is that now they have a rooftop section that will be open for the spring/summer. Downside about it, the rooftop closes at 10 because the people who live in the surrounding condos complain about noise. Also, it’s a 5 dollar cover to get to the rooftop. A place in Rockville of this size shouldn’t have a cover charge. The rooftop is a nice spot to just hang out after a long day at work.

Tapas and fairly good wine. Two dishes each works well for us (small plates, but generously done). Nice outdoor and semi-patio tables. Good for family get-togethers, but more for adults than kids.

Ronan Mcevoy, For over 5 years I have been a regular customer at La Tasca. I loved the atmosphere, reason why I bring my clients for business entertainment. Lately, I have ran into some issues while I was there last and notice that the bar is very slow in serving, that was this past weekend. They took forever to take our order and to give us the drinks. We are really upset about this situation because it has never been like that. The group of 30 people, do give a lot for such a ridiculous wait at the bar. I am bringing this up because I want to continue to be a client of yours but, if the service continues like that then I won’t be coming back at all and I will be taking my client elsewhere. I do hope that you guys do something about it otherwise, I will be posting my remarks on yelp and other sites about my experience at your place! Thank you Lauren Lewis
