Opened in 2009, La Tradición Tortilleria is a family owned and run Mexican Restaurant located in Wichita, Kansas that specializes in flour and corn tortillas. The owner is a second-generation tortilla maker. His mother and family still own and operate a tortilla bakery in Michoacan, Mexico. Albert is proud to bring his family tradition to Wichita, where he produces preservative free flour tortillas daily. Martha is the genius behind the great Mexican dishes served in the restaurant. Corn tortillas are also produced daily with the freshest ingredients and sold at his restaurant. With minimal processing and simple ingredients once you try the natural buttery flavor of the flour tortillas and the moist, fresh corn flavor of the corn tortillas you will never accept anything less again.
They offer a daily lunch menu and buffet in the restaurant. Just like their tortillas, they make all of the dishes fresh everyday. No leftovers served in their restaurant.
