Laid Back Poke Shack

I should start by saying I LOVE Poke. It's the perfect combination of sushi and freeform flavors. It's not the absolute best Poke I've ever had, but it's still very good. The food servers were great and very friendly, even asking how we enjoyed it when we finished. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and had good lighting. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you like sushi and haven't tried Poke.

No aloha in this food. No aloha found behind the making of this food. No aloha displayed by the staff behind the counter. I have family members who are too young to work that makes better poke than this place. I was disappointed with the quality of the fish. disappointed with the lack of knowledge from the staff that helped me. This is the type of food I grew up eating in Kihei, Hawaii. I like to support businesses here in Utah that are from my home state. I also like to support businesses owned by Polynesians who get their local foods out to the world. My biggest disappointment with this place is that the business is not owned by a person who grew up with this food at his table. Poke bowl businesses have popped up all around, and this is an imposter, and it shows in the food.

This place was very disappointing, the poke was very plain, and looked like its been sitting in the containers for awhile. The lady who helped me wasn't wearing gloves, in fact no one was wearing gloves, I found that to be pretty gross. She also grazed the top of my food with her forearm as she was setting a cup on my tray, and just looked at her arm and said opps. I didn't want to say anything since this is my first time here and didn't want to be that person. Anyways I also got the spam macaroni salad.. and it tasted like sour feet. Like it was clearly sour and old... needless to say I will never go back and I don't recommend anyone going here unless you have no taste buds.

Yum!!! First time eating here and we will definitely be back. Very tasty and healthy !

I ordered the Pago Pago signature bowl. It was pretty good. I liked the Spicy Ahi and the seaweed salad, but didn't like the Oka Ahi as much - probably just a personal preference. Service was good and the staff were nice and friendly.
