Rumbi Island Grill

The people were GREAT they really had some good customer service skills and patience. The reason for the rating comes more because of their food. We got their sweet pork but tasted burned and old. Like when you put something in the slow cooker and it was too high and kinda burned it but you didn't realize it. Soo it stayed there on the warm setting...just brewing. That's the taste we had. They changed it and brought me the tofu that I asked for instead...but their tofu was not good. They obviously don't know or just don't want to prepare the tofu at all. If they would just marinate it a bit before cooking it...that would make a huge difference but instead they just kinda cook it. No wonder people don't like tofu! By that time I just decide to bare it...the tofu taste was better than a burnt taste.

I only ever come here because my husband loves this place. I hate it, and will usually eat beforehand if I know we are coming here. Their ingredients are low quality and I don't dare even touch their meat. The food is way overpriced. It is almost $30 when my husband and I both order meals. The only thing I really love here is their sweet potato crinkle fries with fry sauce. Those are actually amazing!

I'm upset with rumbi. Their ricebowls suck big time. Rice is raw. And their meat is not as good.their customer service is non existent.... Last time I went I got some burgers and the people were friendly and the food was good enoughm. It is matter of chosing the right food I guess. But he aware they do NOT know how to make rice

My son received some a couple $5 gift cards from his orthodontist so we stopped by to get some lunch. The lady taking our order couldn't get the one gift card to work and so even though it had the receipt in with it, she told us that the cashier who did the card did it incorrectly so their was nothing on it. BUT she still would NOT honor the gift card, even with the receipt in it! I didn't want to make a scene as it was busy so I asked for the gift card back (yes, she was not going to give it back to me!!), finished paying and waited for our food. When it arrived it was luke warm at best. I will not be trying Rumbi again! With HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and cold food, they are not worth my time or money!!

Their rice bowls for being mostly rice and beans are getting very expensive and very small. You can find that better food values elsewhere.
