Lake Fairfax Park

Trails are well used by both cyclists and hikers. There are a few signs along the trail like I've posted, but no color coding, nothing says which path you are on. The junctions were a little confusing, but I managed well enough. It is a good place for mountain biking. You can trail run most of it, but not all. There are a couple creek crossings where you can risk getting some wet feet. The boy scouts were camping near part of the trail. This perfect for them.

The showers and restrooms in the RV campground need maintenance. Crumbling block and at least one non-functioning shower wand. Plus several of the RV spots have a steep pitch, which makes it a challenge to level one's RV. Otherwise, this is a FANTASTIC park. Amazingly full of activities, trails, and conveniences for groups of ALL sizes.

Very beautiful place and I love the greenery around the lake. Great place for family and friends picnic.

Lake Fairfax! A place to meditate. A family park in winter or summer! A place to go for a walk and enjoy nature. Or just simply relax!

Love the lake view from group camping area one. Across the lake, it is just as beautiful when the sun rises or sets.
