I used Lamers for my wedding day transportation/guest transportation. Lamers initially was a very easy company to work with. I worked with a Jill most of my time. I sent her a timeline of pickups/drop-offs & even called her/the company 3 times to ensure they understood the directions. The got annoyed with me but ensure they understood the directions. The day of comes around and the Driver comes in picks up the bridal party but has no idea he had to come back for guests at our hotel. As a bride this set in a lot of panic, it was all figured out at the willingness of the driver- but something I wish I didn’t have to deal with. Overall, the driver was so kind & we had a blast with him.
Tried to set up a simple trip multiple times, but customer service was unresponsive and mistake prone. I decided to use another company in the end.
Very shady, dishonest company. Don't work here. They lie, after promising you a lucrative career. They leave you hanging.
My son uses the bus service at school 4 times per week to get to his mom's house. Thankfully the driver checked the seats after drop off and saw my son's laptop. That driver brought the laptop to 13th and college Ave. What a trustworthy company!
I’m unsure why this business isn’t 5 stars. I rented their 56 passenger coach bus for my wedding on August 7th in Milwaukee. We utilized their service for 7.5 hours and all of my guests were thrilled! They drove our wedding party around for photos, dropped us at the venue & picked up our guests. Took us all home at the end of the evening. Very comfortable, super prompt. Fantastic driver, fantastic bus. Unfortunately, It was a very humid day in Milwaukee. My only ask would have been a little more A/C, our request to cool the bus further was ignored. I would still recommend them over and over.
Giving this rewiew a 1 star because of how the "supervisor" Diane handled this situation. The school bus was running late, as per usual, no big deal! However, when I called to ask the disptacher the status on the bus, they did not bother to check with the driver. They assumed the bus made its stop without even checking! The dispatcher said they had sent a flat bus rather than the regular bus and that's the reason my child missed it. However, my child would know if a yellow, FLAT, round, square or star looking bus would have made a stop IN FRONT of him! And it did NOT. So I called to speak to the supervisor and Diane answered. WOW, this lady needs a course on how to be professional. After I explained the situation she had the nerve to ask me " and you felt you needed to ask for a supervisor for this?" YES!! I DID ACTUALLY BECAUSE IT'S YOUR JOB TO HANDLE SITUATIONS LIKE THIS! I asked her to check the GPS and she put me on hold... said the bus did stop. LIES!! Because I then followed up and I was told THEY DO NOT have a GPS on that bus. People who have titles like her should take their jobs seriously, if you hate dealing with people then don't do that job. You have a job because of people LIKE ME. And per the reviews I've read, the people who have received a feedback from the company, they reply with negativity as well so SAVE it! You guys have a lot you need to work on, save the time replying to me and re train your staff!
We rented a school bus for our wedding because we needed something large enough to transport all of our guests to and from the venue to the hotel. We had an all around great experience with Lamers. The Lamers contact was great to work with and very responsive, our bus driver was so kind and accommodating the day of the wedding, and the pricing was completely reasonable. Highly recommend!
Terrible bus line. My child would wait over 30mins on the bus stop, and they refused to change her stop time. If they were early, they’d leave her saying she wasn’t there on time, even though she was just crossing the street carefully winter months. Supervisors were inconsiderate when told the driver pulls off before the kids are seated. Not professional at ALL. The “new DBS”.
They send text telling what time bus coming 3 times then bus never come I call they tell me there is no driver hired for route. I would think they would've texted me that instead of the time it will be arriving. I would think u would have workers before u take on a contract common sense.
The school bus never shows up #1163and this company is not good at all you tell them what’s wrong and they still won’t help with the situation because of they employees
