The restaurant had beautiful murals on the wall and a wonderful atmosphere. Food was very good and the wait staff was nice. They seem to be understaffed at the moment so be prepared for what comes with that. The food still came out fast and the queso was the best I've ever had. Definitely recommend.

Nice ambiance, good food and great service. Prices are on the higher side but then this is in Mountain Brook. Overall a good option for Mexican food.

Great food, very heavy on the onions, however. Just be aware if you don't like them. Which I don't, but still ate the food because it was that good

I eat here all the time. Food and service is worth 5 stars. Chips and red salsa get 1 star. Chips are thick and stale and the red salsa doesn’t have much flavor.

GREAT. . . experience food so good and our server adam took care of us like we were family. We will be regulars and spread the word, La Paz is great for food and fresh high quality. Thank you Adam and back of the house for good experience.

not good at all. hard chips, hard rice, and hard chicken. Sat us at a dirty table that hadn’t been wiped. Disgusting and a waste of money.

Easy to get an outside table. Great salsa and cheese dip. We had the Gordo and half quesadilla. Quiet and quaint dinner.
