Lapel is a new brand in the DC area taking a fresh look at tuxedo rentals. We saw an industry with poor style, quality, and customer service, and decided it could be done better, so we started from scratch.

We began by designing and manufacturing our own styles. 100% 130s wool tuxedos, real patent leather shoes, cotton shirts, and silk neckwear. The result is a clean and classic collection with a contemporary slim fit.

Then we looked at customer service. Too many strip-center rental chains were staffed by inexperienced or uninterested salespeople. Other companies delivered tuxedos in a box through the mail.

We opened an owner-run showroom in Old Town Alexandria, VA to reinvent the customer experience. We seek to be the best tux you can rent. Quality, style, and customer service will always be paramount.

We do more than just measurements. Come in to our showroom to try on a full tuxedo package. Everything you need is in-store.
