Kathleen is very casual, very nice and knowledgeable about skin care. I had several small sun damaged spots removed by laser. No serious discomfort and the entire session was done in 30 minutes. Just a great experience.

I absolutely loved my results of hair removal and the reduction of my rosacea on my face. My face is so soft now and it looks younger! Due to being light-skinned with dark hair, it took longer than expected. But then I had over 40 years of skin damage and thick dark hair to eliminate. I would recommend starting your skin care treatment as soon as possible. Laser Plus Skin Care uses various methods of treatment (laser, electrolysis, etc), depending many factors, personal to you. I found I needed to be committed to getting regular sessions in order to combat these issues. I also found the owner to be extremely knowledgable and passionate in her work. Her caring personality will make you feel comfortable and confident.

I do not recommend this business. I had 6 treatments of laser hair removal on my underarms and 5 on my lower legs. My underarms turned out fine but have concerns about my legs. The first 2-3 treatments on my lower legs left white marks scattered all over. When I asked Kathleen about this she told me it was because I was too tan. At this time it was middle of winter and I hadn't been on any vacation and don't use tanning bed. I rarely get any tan even during the summer so I struggle believing it was residual tan from then. When I told this to her she replied by saying she wasn't sure why it happened then. We switched lasers and I no longer had the problem for 2 more sessions so continued to go to her. I also knew the white marks would fade with time, which they did but it took 6-8 months. I had to remind her at each appt which laser I wanted and stressed many times as long as I didn't get marks I was happy. The 5th time I had laser removal on my lower legs I develops welts, blisters and burns. I left a voicemail for Kathleen the next morning and received a text message about 24 hours later. She was apologetic and offered to see me and provide a cream. Since I spoke with a Dermatologist I work with I declined her offer but was very diligent caring for my legs using a prescription cream and wet wraps initially, Vaseline jelly 1-2 day since the treatment, plus more. My legs burned in the shower for 2 weeks. When I asked Kathleen what she changed at my last treatment and told her I spoke with a Dermatologist she replied by stating "it is best to not escalate the situation by asking others." She did send me a follow up text 2.5 weeks later to see how I was doing. I intentionally waited 3 weeks to do my review since I was so upset and wanted to be fair. My legs are still looking terrible and very embarrassing. The majority of the sites should fade like Kathleen said but unfortunately no matter how well you take care if them sometime blisters rip open or scabs get irritated. At sites where that did happen there are now pits and will likely scar. At my appointments Kathleen told me she would do this aggressive laser to smaller sites on herself and let it peel and heel. If she is comfortable doing that on her own skin that is fine but I stressed I did not want that. If you talk with a physician that does laser hair removal that is not the ideal way. You can do laser like that for treatment of other things but not hair removal. I also wonder whether she keeps good notes because she asked me what my dosing was at 2 appts but never told me what it was previously so I couldn't give her the information, then chose a dose and stated she "thought" that was right. Maybe she just doesn't choose her words wisely but that doesn't make me feel confident in her work. I didn't have any problems in my underarms but overall after having those experiences I just don't feel saving the money was worth it. I am adding additional information about 7 months after treatment. The skin pigmentation and marks have faded and are less noticeable. They are still significantly there in rectangular lighter patches. With summer coming up I have tried multiple beige shades of nylons, black sheer nylons and neither cover them well enough that they aren't noticeable. I can only cover my legs well with opaque tights. I even tried a spray tan where a light and medium shade did not cover it and I was told they only way she thought I could potentially mask them was by getting their darkest tan. I was told by my Dermatologist plan on 1-2 years for it to be minimally noticeable. Kathleen told me she did this to spots on herself and left white marks on her own skin, which is fine but I am very unhappy and self conscious with how my legs look. I recommend better communication with clients about the healing time and long term appearance if that's what she feels this is acceptable. In response to Kathleen's comment. I never requested a refund or any compensation and was never mean or rude to her. I did not follow up with her for care instead consulted a Dermatologist.
