I was denied service today 10/6/2022 because I did not want to wear a mask. I was a half hour early for my appointment. I am posting here so that it may be recorded, I showed up and was denied service. That being said any fraudulent cancelation fees will not be paid. It is clear that the health of my eyes and any other patients' is not a priority at Dr. Lavenberg's. Virtue signaling is much more important than patient health.

Went for Lasik. They have a policy you have to sign that says if you cancel you have to pay a fee. I'm 100% ok with that, so long as they agree to pay me the same amount any time they cancel on me within the same notice period. They refused. I get that in a doctor's office where insurance companies have negotiated a low reimbursement rate that the business model only works if the doctor's time is valued more than the patients', but when I'm there to spend $4000 on an elective surgery that discount places perform for $250 per eye, there's no way you're going to tell me you need a cancellation fee while my time is worthless. Pass! BTW, received the surgery elsewhere and I love it. Highly recommend Lasik.

The visit was pleasant. From the time I checked in they knew who I was and I haven’t been there in a few years. My wait time upon arrive was very little. The staff was friendly and during the diagnostic and checking of my eyes was very professional. They explained everything and I discovered that what I was sold by my visit to a National brand was not the lenses in my current glasses. I need glasses for driving and see at a distance. This is important to me because I’m a realtor and I’m on the road and I need to be able to access properties correctly. I appreciate everything from this organization. Thank you so much.

I have been a patient of practice for 20 years, staff is warm, friendly and caring. Dr Lavenberg saw my mom when she was transitioning to Fla and worked to make it easy. I saw him and other docs in practice. I like them all.

Tiara sp? was so incredibly kind. I can’t say enough good things about her. She totally understood my concerns and was very patient with me. Dr. Weinberger was also very thorough and kind.

I have been going to the side doctor for several years I have no issues with the staff no issues with my doctor the staff is friendly courteous and very professional and I recommend this place to go if you have any type of eye issues

Everyone in the practice from start to finish are very pleasant and welcoming. You don't feel rushed through your visit. Glad I chose this practice to care for my son's vision.

Sadly, despite all mandates having been lifted in Maryland and Delaware, Lavenburg medical group Centurion Drive office front-desk staff continue to be disrespectful and rude in harassing customers about mask wearing. I can walk into my dentist, into other eye doctors, airplanes, and any business without being harassed. I emailed asking for an exception to mask wearing due to a skin condition, as I need my glasses adjusted. But I received an unkind email lacking in emotional intelligence ignoring my issues and rejecting my request. The gist of the response I got was "we do what the government tells us to do". Considering the growing body of evidence of the health hazards of wearing masks, and the absolute lack of evidence that masking does anything to protect or prevent COVID19, their lack of data-drive and science based decision is disturbing. Considering my skin condition, their lack of sensitivity is borderline discriminatory. Ultimately, in the administrator's own words, it is a choice they make that that everyone now knows has more to do with fear and watching too much CNN than with science and facts. I don't know how long it will be before I get my eyes checked again at this practice, if ever. Truly disgusted and disturbing. "...we have chosen to continue to wear masks. We are required by our corporate office to continue wearing masks until the mandate is lifted. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, but we must follow these guidelines until it is not recommended by the government." I'm going to have to look for a new practice that follows best practices and the medical sciences, and not politicians in lab coat's recommendations as if they were mandates. It's frustrating because I rather appreciated Dr. Weinberger's care and service and respectful treatment of her patients. *** My wife has been using Dr Lavenburg's office since she was a child, and I started seeing Dr. Lavenburg as soon as I moved into the area. I've been examined by Dr. Weinberger, and have received great attention. I love that you're never "rushed through" the process, and the staff and doctors are friendly and personable. We've also always purchased our glasses from their store -- not a "discount" place, but great source of brand name, high-quality stylish frames. Greatly appreciate how Dr Lavenburg and Dr. Weinberger, treats their patients.

Dr. Weinberger and her staff are so nice and did a great job getting the metal out of my son's eye. The office got him in for an appointment same day in 2 hours of my call. His eye cleared up in hours. Thank you!

Dr Bristol and her team always do a great job. She has been my eye doctor for the past 10+ years and has always provided very professional and proactive care. I was especially pleased interacting with new team member Ashley during my recent visit.
