I have had the worst experience working with this office. In 2014, he withdrew from my case but did not make sure to have my charges reduced as it stated in my order and as a condition of my probation being completed. I have lost jobs, ended up homeless and my earning potential has be affected and for 8 almost 9 years he has refused to do what he was originally paid for. Instead, he asked for more money for my case to be sealed. But he won’t do what he was originally paid to do. How do you get cases dismissed for more serious charges but you couldn’t handle my bogus case? Clark County ruined my life and this attorney gave them every key to continue to do it. Makes the rest of these reviews seem fake. I’m going to the Bar Association next.

I had the pleasure of Mr.Ogata representing me for 2 counts of Assault w/ deadly weapon and he was able to get the whole case DISMISSED! It was refreshing for me to have a lawyer that truly desired to fight for me and not just take my money and settle. He was always responsive to any concerns I had and one thing I like is that he is an honest person. You can tell when someone has a good heart and I could see that. There really aren't enough stars to rate Mr. Garrett Ogata and his law firm; in my book they are a 20 out of 5. I was looking for an attorney for a family member facing a very grave charge, and the process of finding someone was nothing short of terrifying. With zero experience in today's legal system, how do you know you're going to be well represented when the outcome is the potential loss of everything you've worked for, along with your freedom? To make matters worse, I needed to find an attorney in a different city from my own. In my first attempt, I thought I was contacting a specific person but ended up connected to a referral service. I got a call back from someone the next day. He was obviously on the run, no time to talk, didn't want any details, didn't have time or desire to meet except for the few minutes before the warrant return hearing, and wanted the standard fee. I just remember hanging up with a sick feeling in my gut. Luckily, the next call I made was to Mr. Ogata's law firm. His message and manner on his website were genuine and made me feel he would do a good job, and I’m happy to say I wasn't wrong! Mr. Ogata met with us in person and by phone whenever we needed, answered tons of questions, and was both forthcoming and confident about the possible outcomes and how he planned to approach the charges. Even with our first visit, a tremendous weight was lifted and the outcome he achieved could not have been better. So many things were at risk of being lost but Mr. Ogata made sure none of them were. In my 60 years of life, my experiences with attorneys has never been good. A lot of them take your money and the results just never work out to what you were expecting. When I had a recent legal matter, I turned to Garrett Ogata. Going into this, I expected the worst, but Garrett assured me that I need not let the case mentally beat me up. Unlike other attorneys I have encountered, Garrett was very personable and easy to speak to. More importantly, he had my case thrown out. While I hope to never have to deal with what happened again, I will definitely turn to Garrett in the future should the need arise.

Mr.Ocada showed immediate care and empathy for my situation. He asked questions and wanted to know every detail. He never once tried to push the easy way out or take an unfair deal. He showed extreme confidence and was willing to fight it to the end. He made me feel like I really had someone in my corner, not just an easy paycheck. All charges were dropped and dismissed. Couldn't ask for a better result. Can't recommend enough.

I left all of my information with the receptionist. She said I would get a call back after he finished his court cases for the day. That was over a month ago, and I still haven't received a response. I work in customer service, so I know what it is to follow up with a customer. It was very disappointing.

Case Closed!! I usually don’t do reviews but I really wanted to leave one for anyone looking for an attorney. When I first contacted Garrett he did more than listen to me and what I needed he made me feel ok about what I was going through. His communication was spot on, he even provide me with his personal cell phone number so that I could reach him at anytime! What attorney would do that? His fee was so reasonable as well. Don’t think about it if you are in need GET GARRETT!
