First time using their services to send some joy to the Philippines. The process was a great experience. The staff were both friendly and completed my shipping process quite quickly as compared to the USPS. I look forward to using LBC again.
They are a reliable company when it comes to shipping items to the Philippines. We have never had any issues of missing or damaged box's. Also, they give you a 4 hour window when they come to pick up your box's. Just wished they had more parking at the company. They have like only 4 stalls, which are usually full and there really is not any other place to park in the area.
Our experience with LBC in Fairfax, Virginia was superb. Good scheduling. Driver calls you to say he is on his way and gives the approximate time he is arriving. We thought it would be the same here in Hawaii. NO! NOT HERE IN HONOLULU! LBC here are the most inefficient people to deal with. They will cause you inconvenience and stress. Schedules disappear when someone takes off! When they mess up, no apologies; they'd even talk over you! And suggest you take your shipment to their office. If there is a new customs form, guess what, you need to drive over to their office to pick it up personally! Their driver can not bring the form when he comes over to pick up the shipment because it will delay him! This is LBC service.
LBC Mabuhay Corporation has the resources and power to hire productive results-oriented staff that will be assets to the company and get rid of non-performing ones. This branch has no teamwork at all. No coordination. The common complain is that no one shows up to pick up the boxes scheduled for that day. The customer waits and wastes the whole day just waiting. When they call they are made to wait some more and still no one comes. Is there a manager or supervisor around? There must be a list of the customers who are scheduled for box pick up on each day. During the day, the supervisor will monitor if their boxes are being picked up. If not, he/she will have the courtesy to call the customer ASAP and re-schedule the pick up another day. How hard is it really to run an efficient branch? LBC is a huge corporation and can very well afford to hire eager hard working people who can replace the incompetent ones.
I don't usually write bad reviews but I'm not very happy about this LBC. I've made an appointment for a pickup twice and they forgot to pick up both times. I wasted my time waiting between 1-4 pm and they didn't come at all. They didn't even bother calling if the driver can't come that day. I've always had a good experience with LBC, but this particular store is not very organized. Until now, my boxes haven't been picked up :
10/28/2014 Tuesday: I took time off work again today to wait for my box to be picked up. I just received a call from the driver saying he cannot pick up my box because his van is full. I called the manager explaining that the driver just called to cancel the pick up and the manager begins to give me the same reason. Totally unprofessional especially because this same manager is the one who talked me into today's time slot after they had me waiting last week 10/24 for 4 hours and didn't pick up my box then as well. After complaining last week, the manager apologized profusely and made me wait today. I took time off work again. I can't believe how she had the audacity to try to give me an excuse for today. She apologized and used a customer in Kailua as an excuse for filling up their van. Really???????? Just appalled.
Very disappointed with their service or lack of services. Calle LBC Dillingham Office this morning at 9:00am was given 12-3pm window. It is now 5:40pm. After several calls I was told the driver is stuck in traffic. The lady asked me if I was available the next day, I told her only in the afternoon. The lady promised me 1:00pm as a priority pick-up. I hope I won’t be waiting a long time this time. Not pleased with this service. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
My one and only place I go to send my loved ones gift from Hawaii to the Philippines! Even when I visit the Philippines I only use LBC! It's a great company!!
Oh I dont dislike the place. I only gave 2 star because that's all they deserve for their customer service. I dont feel welcome when I entered the place. When I asked questions, they cant answer me, I have to explain my self. So yeah. 2 star is all they can get.
