No dish is more popular than sandwiches in France. And we’re not talking about just any sandwich... «Jambon-beurre», as we call it, is made with fresh baguette, sliced and then filled with delicious products.

In Paris, you can find amazing shops that truly care about the sandwiches they sell. They use the best bread, the freshest ingredients, and they prepare them on-demand. The only problem? You always have to wait in queue to get your hands on one!

In the US, the sandwich culture is very different: it’s often eaten in a deli or in nationwide chain outposts, and quality is not always top-notch. Once you’ve had a French sandwich, it’s really hard to go back. And this is what we decided to bring to the gourmet city that New York is.

The baguettes were amazing! I stayed a week in the East Village with my sister, so we decided to grab some breakfast at Le Petit Parisien because it was relative close to our place. I’m really glad we did. My sister and I ended up having a very nice chat with the owner. 100 recommend.
Sandwiches so good, you'll want to marry them. Good coffee and fresh juice, too. My recommendation: Gainsbourg, sub comte for camembert, add tomato+arugula, add cured ham, and get a bag of black truffle chips on the side then put some in your sandwich for added flavor+crunch.
The French people’s arrival to the anericas is wrought with problems but they maintained to survive and to prosper. I get around NYC more then most people so I’m not sure how I missed the little French shop. I like a French roast on my coffee from time to time, this time because of work I was only able to purchase a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie. Both were delicious and the counter man was a authentic French person. Awesome right? Their establishment felt comfy with some art work that will spark your creativity. This place is truly Petit located in a small shop in a cute downtown neighborhood. I ordered the Strasbourg and it was everything I could have hoped for, a truly traditional jambon buerre with the addition of comte cheese that sticks to its roots by prioritizing quality of ingredients over everything else. The sandwich itself is rather large and is well priced, roughly $12, making for an excellent lunch. Likewise the coffee is truly stellar, I ordered a simple iced coffee with milk and it was beautiful. Typically I order an espresso drink but you can just tell this place has good coffee. The staff is also exceptionally friendly. Will return when I'm in the area again.

I was starving , walked over from the west village and it was absolutely worth it. Delicious !!Food: 5/5
The star of this bakery/sandwich shop is their baguette. Crunchy on the outside and chewy and flavorful on the inside. One note of caution: you need to be careful about chewing this baguette too quickly or too forcefully or taking bites that are too big. Because the crust is crunchy and hard, doing any of the foregoing may results in abrasions to your gums or roof of your mouth. If you wish soft bread or lightly crunchy bread, you need to go elsewhere. Signature sandwich selection is limited in number but imaginative and they will make customized sandwich upon request. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. They also offer excellent croissants and sweet baked goods that are buttery but the sweet baked items are a bit too sugary for my taste. The shop is clean and it's an elegant place to spend time munching on sandwiches and baked goods and drinking tasty coffee shop quality coffee. Seating is limited but I never had a hard time finding seating because the neighborhood is not a very high traffic area.
