Lechuga's Italian Restaurant

I usually have a good experience with the staff, when stopping in to grab a quick bite to go, or having dinner. However, today I went in with a group of co workers to have lunch and had the total opposite experience. The little blonde waitress helping us seemed less than thrilled to be waiting on us, Everyone but me was given silverware, and only one of us was offered a refill on our soft drinks. Hopefully next time I will have a different experience, or I will just stick to grabbing takeout or dining in at dinner time. Not really sure if the new owners will see this Or not, but I hope nobody else has the same experience I did today.

Not sure what the fuss is about. We were very disappointed. Three stars not two for being very affordable. Average at best. Good, but average. Slow service. Spaghetti and lasagna sauce could use spices and meat. Atmosphere isn't old Italian "joint" charming. It's generic diner.

Tangy sauce & home made goodness. When you walk in and the smell hits you it makes you feel like you walked into Grandma's house. They have a cannoli wrapped meatball/spicy sausage. It was amazing. Portions are large. Two separate dining area. One has more of a Greek feeling with the bar, other dining area an Italian bistro feel with the pastry display case. Their pastries are so yummy and fresh. I suggest the wafer cookies. Meatballs are a must!

We discovered Lechuga's about a year ago and have found ourselves here several times for both dine in and carry out. Their sausage cannolis are amazing. The food is inexpensive, and the staff is friendly.

Always a great dining experience. Good food at a good price. Tuesday night's are spaghetti dinner night. Salad, spaghetti, and bread for $5.50. Love the daily lunch specials.
