Colore Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Every experience at Colore has been a really great one. The food is always delicious. Fresh, authentic Italian food. The service is always amazing. We love coming here when we feel like braving the dining out experience with our two children! Tonight our waitress was so sweet. And the manager on duty really “wowed” us. One of my two sons forgot his drawing and when I ran back in to grab it (the small things can be quite large with the the little ones) our table had already been bussed. The kind manager ran into the back to retrieve it before it was too late! A small, but very much appreciated gesture that really impressed me. Such an amazing example of the best customer service! Thank you! We look forward to coming back again soon!

Oh Colore. I remember when you first opened and you couldn't even staff with waiters plural. After years of operation, it has come into its own. The restaurant is steady and constant (so reservations are handy). A steady rotation of specials that highlight both seasonal and regional foods helps provide a new twist with each visit. Some foodies may get fussy: is the cuisine northern Italian, southern, American Italian, something else? I however recommend you avoid the semantics. The food is good. You can even get your pizza gluten free (for a nominal surcharge). There is even a kid friendly experience available with spaghetti, Mac and cheese, and other popular fare. Despite appearances otherwise, this restaurant remains both causal and a neighborhood establishment but you can dress up and be fancy as well if you'd like (or order for delivery via their smartphone app).

I REALLY enjoy eating here. The food is pretty consistent and flavorful. 9 out of 10 times, the staff is really good. The staff is friendly, courteous, and quick. The atmosphere can go either family-oriented, or a nice romantic dinner with your loved one. Would recommend trying, the salads and pizzas. The Cesar salad is SUPER good. For those that have a hard time finding a good Cesar salad, look no more. It is not too salty (like some places), but rich in flavor. Good amount of everything. Good size as well (two sizes available). Want a pizza with a little spice? Try the picante.

I cannot say enough good things about the food here - insanely yummy. I would've given it 5 stars, but they seem to have a tough time managing when it gets really crowded. Having done food service, I get how hectic busy nights can be, but when the staff all does their parts it flows and customers are happy... However when I've been there during busy times they seem to get a tad mixed up. That being said, it has never been enough to deter me from going back for the food!!! Eat here - the food is worth it!

Got delivery, the delivery driver couldn’t process my payment and said he would call when he got back to the restaurant to take the payment. My husband calls and talks to the owner about processing the payment over the phone. The owner makes a comment about us not being able to pay for our food, laughs at my husband, and then gives him attitude and still would not process our payment. We love their food, but there’s a good chance that we will no longer be ordering from them because of how we were treated by the OWNER.
