I obtained cervical spine fusion from Dr. Lee. Dr explained the procedure based on my asking questions. I believe that if one does not know which questions to ask, they might not be fully informed so do some research online before going there. I believe Dr. is skilled, kind and knowledgeable however, very vague with after-surgery care and what to expect with healing times/consequences of surgery, etc. On the positive side, Queen's is THE BEST place to have your surgery done. I have had 7 surgeries in my life and have NEVER enjoyed my experience more. Queen's Same Day Surgery Center staff is absolutely outstanding! Dr. Lee's staff is hit or miss, generally nice however, they seem to be short-handed simply based on the fact that return phone calls are hard to come by. Good luck receiving return or referral phone calls in a timely manner. You will likely need to follow-up with them more than once. I do recommend Dr. Lee but please contact them ahead of time, be consistent with your own follow-up and have a list of questions to ask when going to your appointments.

I was referred to Dr Lee a few years back for my lower back and I’m currently seeing him now for my tendinitis in my wrist.....he is such a Great Doctor!!! He takes the time to explain what the injury is and how it will be managed and the process of how that management will play out to get things better!! His staff is friendly, professional and accommodating!! He has a very busy office that’s gotta say something right there but the office staff does their Best to get the patient’s in with in a fair amount of time!! If you’re looking for a Orthopedic Doctor....call Dr Jeffrey Lee at Queen’s he’s Great!!!!! C.Lum

Disappointed with the care and compassion of this provider. My aunt had been seeing him for years for bone problems. I’ve gone in with her to help translate. Her case is no longer operable and she brought disability forms to his office to fill out. Dr. Lee said he would not fill them out for her and referred her to another provider for continued care and to fill the forms out. The forms are time sensitive and how could a new provider know her case better than him?! No more $$$ here so see ya later lady good luck! Not a provider I would recommend.

I had a herniated disk. He did my surgery as an outpatient 9 years ago. Only took 2 hours. Went home the same day. I was walking worse than a 90 yr old woman all crooked with a cane and i was only 41 back then. Now my life is normal. No more excruciating pains, no cane. Thank you so much Dr. Lee.

My knees had been killing me for about 2 weeks... for the first few days I thought I was just sore from a really hard run. The week after I knew I did some damage and of course I felt like it was worse case scenario. I thought I destroyed my cartilage or broke some bone off or something. I went there on a very busy morning and was greeted by a very nice receptionist with a nose ring. I didn't catch her name but she was juggling several people at the same time but still managed to multitask and take care of questions and paperwork at the same time. I was seen by Dr. Lee after a bit and told him what I thought was wrong and of course I was completely wrong. He gave me some options and I picked the most painful of the 3 which was a shot of cortizone in each knee and it's now about a week later and I feel a lot better. The staff even followed up a few days later to see how I was doing. Would totally recommend to anyone. Thanks Dr. Lee!

It was my initial visit and I have bad anxiety when it comes to new doctors but he was the kindest doctor I came across in awhile. My anxiety level went from 10 to 0 in no time. He said I wasn't crazy. My own pcp wanted to prove me wrong about something being wrong with my back. That's why she set me up to see Dr. Lee. When he told me something was definitely wrong, my grandson told me did you tell the physician assistant that she was wrong and you were right all this time. Mind you he's only 8. He made me laugh. Thank you to him and his staff for being kind.

Dr. Lee is a great surgeon he doesn't engage too much with nonsense stuff but I had several things going on a couple life threatening stuff and dr. Lee basically saved my life on a couple occasions going through the emergency room , he was very informative and did what he told me he was going to do , it wasn't like a broken arm it was actually life threatening injuries and infections and I believe if it was any other surgeon they would have either referred to another surgeon or taken too long , but because dr. Lee is confident in his skills I came out fine..thank you dr. Lee

Under went 2 major surgeries with Dr. Lee, each one recovery went well. Post OP care & follow up visits were excellent. Highly recommend as an orthopedic physician.

Did the paper work, quickly saw the Dr. Good results because nothing major. Told me he would send a report to the my Dr. I called back because I had couple of question... left a message...He never called back. Called again.... another message. He never called back. Called just now... my Dr. to see if the report came in from him NOTHING.... Just left a message again..................

Difficulty getting return phone calls regarding insurance paperwork to be submitted by his office for airfare reimbursement to and from outer islands and unclear who submits the final receipts with Dr.'s signature, patient signature, insurance approval signature. The insurance companies make it so complicated and nearly impossible to get reimbursed although transportation is allowed and paid for.
