Legacy Christian Academy

The administration lacks control over their staff and lack of support that will effect a child's well being. Despite only having 6 students, the teacher did not give appropriate attention to my child's academic needs, Showing a lack of teaching knowledge and capabilities. The teacher was told not to write negative comments in his agenda book, by her superiors twice, and still continued. She threatened him 'failing,' which was an empty threat obviously because he was on honor roll. She made comments about him vomiting in class inconvienencing her. She would joke about his bad behavior.The curriculum is designed to overload with worksheets, often sent home with 6-10 worksheets plus homework, when he fell behind. When I made a suggestion, I was completely dismissed because I was not his maternal parent, despite me parenting him for the last 3years.A suggestion to help raise a child's grades/behaviors should never be dismissed. They made it evident they didnt want a solution, that they were tiresome and willing to just ineffectively throw punishments his way. Our family has finally been able to cordinate a situation where he can recieve an education elsewhere. Sure, i just listed some issues with one teacher. But what kind of school permits such behavior from staff?

Terrible they blamed my kid for everything and kicked him for nothing I know this cuz everyday he'd come back from school and have a bruise on his arm from where the kids hit him I will never send him here again

This is an awesome school with caring and awesome teachers.
