Legacy Movers did a great job. They were professional, efficient and handled my belongings with care. Both movers were personable and had a good attitude. Will definitely reccomend this company to friends.
We heard about Legacy through a friend, and requested a quote to move us from our third-story apartment to our new home. Their quote was much more reasonable than other "big name" moving companies the one named for their two employees and a vehicle, for example. Legacy's movers were extremely polite, capable, and well-trained. We didn't have to lift a finger, and they were able to move everything out of our apartment without damaging a thing! Eric spent time and talked with us while his guys finished each leg of the move. We found him to be very personable and easy to talk to. We are extremely glad that we chose to go with Legacy. Moving can be stressful, but working with Legacy put us at ease.
This is a joke of a moving company with TERRIBLE management. My landlord contracted them for my move and I can assure you that neither him nor I will ever use them again. Legacy Moving does not provide quality or quick and efficient service, the management does not treat his team members or customers well, and they should not be trusted with your belongings. To start, the movers showed up at the very end of their "estimated arrival window"- 11am, which put us off to a late start. It ended up taking two guys SEVEN HOURS to load a 3-br apartment into a uhaul yes, they rented a uhaul and a uhaul dolly, they didn't have their own equipment. They looked unprofessional and one barely put out his cigarette before coming into my building. When they started moving the apartment, I had hope things would turn around and get better- I was wrong. They were slow, inefficient, and took a break between nearly every load. We ended up moving our entire garage and countless other items from the apartment on our own, because we were sick of sitting and waiting for something to unpack. After SEVEN HOURS of loading the truck, they determined it was time for them to take a thirty minute break before doing any unloading. We asked if they could leave the truck and our belongings at our new unit 50 yards from the old unit so that we could start the unloading process. They refused and drove away in the truck filled with our things. It was at this time that I called the owner and requested reinforcement- his team was tired, they needed help, and the unload up stairs, instead of down was going to be even more tough. Although not the quickest movers, they were trying their best and were NOT staffed properly or supported by Legacy management. He was rude, not helpful, and acted as though he was not warned the scope of the move- which he was, by myself and my landlord. He defended himself by saying that the movers complained we had them wash their hands before moving certain items- which we politely requested before moving a white bed and a white chaise lounge, to which they happily obliged. The owner, Luke, was no kind of business man I would ever want to be affiliated with. He offered no apologies, additional resources, pr plans to help his team members who were clearly struggling. The movers did not return from their 30-minute break with our truck full of items for an hour and 45 minutes. By the time they returned, we had recruited our own back up help, because the company refused to support his team members and do so himself. We had a team of go-getters ready to unload and had everything in the apartment in 1 hour- what took his team SEVEN HOURS to load. Not only were the movers slow and inefficient, but I did not trust them to keep our items in good condition. The owner did not support his team members to set them up for success. If we hadn’t called in our own reinforcements, a 3-bedroom apartment move would have taken his team of two men 14-16 hours. Don’t use Legacy Moving. They do not provide quality or quick and efficient service, the management does not treat his team members or customers well, and they should not be trusted with your belongings.
Mike and the movers did a great job. They know had to do a third floor to third floor move and never once complained. There was not one thing broken! Highly recommend!
These guys were great, incredibly professional and great moving expertise. And at 2/3 the price of their competitors!
They did a great job, I would definitely use them again.
