Extremely impressed in a negative way and disappointed with the inconsistencies and the unfair treatment displayed from the lawyer towards me, a lawyer that was "supposed to help me" . I had a dispute as a tenant against my neglecting landlord with supporting reports from the city on code violations. The lady lawyer said I was gonna be able to recoup my money in court as she laid out in "our game plan" from the get go. What scares me is how a non profit or pro Bono lawyer plays around with people lives: I am an immigrant and also in a clear disadvantage against my rich and resourceful landlord...how can I have a full measure of justice by watching my lawyer getting a cold feet towards my case, turning her face away from me saying she was not going to be able to represent me when 3 weeks prior she said she was going to? I felt disrespected ,humiliated and left to my own devices. Now I am back to square one, my landlord is getting away with it, and on top of it, I am the one that owes money to him. People beware of!...."A full measure of justice for those in need" is just an empty slogan. thanks for nothing.
