I rented this scooter for my Mom visiting us for a few days. This rental was the best thing I did for her. She was able to enjoy site seeing and getting out to places like the trail at Old Town Alexandria and the towpath at Great Falls. She was thrilled and happy because it allowed her to enjoy all of the outdoor sites and experience it with her family. Lenox Medical has great rates and efficient pick up and drop off by courteous representatives. This was a "Slam Dunk" experience.

Posted 3/21/18. My husband and I live in Crystal City. Since we live in the middle of our nation’s capital, we have family and friends that visit us pretty regularly. Our senior parents are not spring chickens anymore and require a little help in the form of a wheelchair when they visit. We have rented the Heavy Duty Scooter (wheel chair) from Lenox Medical twice now and have been very pleased. The first time we rented a wheelchair (12/21/17) they were exceptionally friendly and dropped off and picked up (which is included in the rental price) in a timely manner. The delivery person was very professional and friendly. The second time we rented a wheelchair, D.C. was in the middle of a snow storm. My family members flight was delayed by a day and I thought the same for the wheelchair. Nope, they delivered right on time. I was actually shocked. Everything had been shut down; work, schools, extra curricular activities, etc, but not the wheelchair rental. Exceptional customer service. Not to mention the rentals are decently priced. I will definitely be renting from them again. Highly recommend!

My parents recently visited me in DC. I wasn’t expecting them to need a wheelchair, but we quickly realized my dad would need one. I called Lenox Medical very late in the day requesting a heavy duty push wheelchair as soon as possible so that we wouldn’t have to change our plans too much the next day. They delivered one to me that very same night. I believe their driver even stayed out late to do so. The person who I ordered it from and the delivery driver were both extremely helpful and professional. Very happy with my experience. Will be using them again.

Chris was amazingly helpful while putting in the order of my pump, he went over and beyond to make my experience painless, and one less thing to stress about right before having Emma. He was quick to answer me and put my mind at ease about everything I threw his way. If I was his supervisor I would be thanking my lucky stars I have one employee I know I can count on to keep customers happy especially hormonal women :) if I could do this multiple times I would gladly for him, he deserves it!!!

My hubby & I visit D.C. quite often since our families are from the DMV. On this occasion my mom traveled with us. Unfortunately, my mother's wheelchair was damaged and we needed a rental. I was so happy when we found this company. They delivered the wheelchair to the door and picked it up as well. They explained all our options in great detail. My mom enjoyed their service so much we decided to use them again when we traveled and this time she got a scooter. I will definitely continue to use them every time we visit D.C.
