So pretty, one of my favorite parks
Great American landmark. Look for views of Mt. Hood and downtown SW Portland. Great hikes are all around.
Sacajawea slept here. I smoked a Sacajawea here. Worked out well for both of us.
It’s a column. Not much to say, but historically it’s important and it’s a good view and a start for the Washington Park itself.
A 1908 built 10.5 m tall column in granite n bronze in Washington park in the memory of the two US army volunteers Lewis and Clark for their 1804 to 1806 long expedition. You see it as you near the Washington park from east side.. its surrounded by lush greenery. Favorite selfie spot for the park visitors.
So very Happy to live in such a great city that loves it's art and history! Specially these explorers!
