Another beautiful place to take pictures of the city, specially on a full moon.
Beautiful view. I always walk across on my way to work. Sadly it is always a memorial for people who have jumped off to end their life... sadly there is a fence up now which makes the view different but it has saved lives.
I love the view from this bridge but it's heavily fenced and the stone with is degrading. You can no longer sit on the built in benches on the bridge because of the fencing either.
I caught a nice early evening view. I will be back on a clear day to catch the mountain at dusk in the distance and perhaps again at night for a skyline view. I was a little disturbed by one of the signs but at least they're trying to help.
Great views of Downtown PDX. Don't really like the fencing, but I guess it's there for good reason.
Still my favorite place to be alone think. Discovered it in 1993 i was 16
I live below it and up the way a bit. Beautiful area, beautiful sight, washington park is less than a 5 min. Walk away. Peace and quiet like no other
Great view of the Portland skyline, nearby there is a staircase that is not often walked that takes you from where 20th St. dead-ends.
Obviously a beautiful view and stonework on the bridge, but the suicide fences completely obstruct the view. Not saying we shouldn’t have them, but you shouldn’t go for the view unless you’re cool with a thick black chain link fence in the way and the chilling thought that people jumped off this thing
It's a beautiful piece of early architecture and a sad place as well. It's called The Suicide Bridge for a reason. Many brothers and sisters took their last steps on earth here. I deeply relate to their pain.
