Beautiful facility! And the sound was just amazing! It was my first time to visit. I was invited to a concert by the conductor of the Westwood Ensemble of Westwood Ks. A new string orchestra put together by a retired orchestra instructor. Love, Love, Loved it!

Great place to see an event. Clean, easy to navigate once inside and clear sight lines from all seats. Rock Chalk Jayhawks!

Excellent performing arts center...best entertainment in town for those who no longer able to attend athletic events, for whatever reasons. Strong community support!

Excellent Performing Arts Center! Derek Kwan, Executive Director, brings great talent to The Lied Center in Lawrence. The Russian Ballet has danced there twice in the past year and a half to soldout crowds! Van Cliburn winners are featured in concert, Broadway shows, Pipes and Drums from Great Britain, The Beach Boys....I could go on and on! There is something for everyone at The Lied! Don't miss an opportunity to attend great performances at The Lied!

Went to a dance recital for local dance school. Plenty of seating, not crowded and great acoustics.
