Established in 1951, Lifespire is dedicated to its mission of assisting Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to reach goals of integration and independence. Lifespire is a nonprofit located in New York State, with locations in all five boroughs of New York City, as well as Long Island, Westchester and Ulster Counties. We serve 5,000 Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities each week and have an employment force of 1,400. In 2016, Lifespire received accreditation of Person-Centered Excellence from the Council on Quality Leadership.
