Lifetime Cabinets & Countertops

This guy really bums me out. I need a small job done and the guy told me to my face that it wasn't worth his time. Unprovoked, he also talked poorly about other granite places in the area. What he failed to realize is that I was willing to pay a premium to get the job done because I understand its a small job. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but there are many many other people willing to take the job!

Lifetime granite counter tops is a life saver! They do excellent work. I was unable to be home for installation, but I will say in my absence they did an outstanding job. When I returned home I was throughly pleased. This company is heaven sent! Their prices are very competitive and reasonable, I don't think you will get a better quote for the quality of work you will receive.

Highly recommend! My husband and I LOVE our countertops! Very quick turnaround and great staff! Our counters were installed the day after measurements were taken.

Our experience with Lifetime was wonderful! They were helpful, professional, and friendly. They followed the timeline they gave us, from choosing our granite to final installation. The morning of the installation, Marcus called us to let us know a short window of time for when they would arrive. The installers really were experts with their craft, and within a few hours, our granite countertops were installed and beautiful! They cleaned and vacuumed up all debris before they left, and we could not have been more pleased. We would highly recommend them to everyone!

Although my counter tops are lovely, my horrible experience far outweighs my happiness with my new counter tops. Our granite counter tops were installed on January 10, 2017. The next afternoon when I came home from work (January 11), I noticed large amounts of water under the sink. The water was also under the dishwasher, the hardwoods were warping and the water was into the sub floor. Apparently, the water had not been shut off completely when the company's workmen removed our sink and plumbing fixtures. The result is a dismal mess in my kitchen. When I called Marcus Greenwell, the owner of Lifetime Cabinets & Countertops, he promptly began to cite Rule 1 under Demolition and Job Site Preparation of our contract that states, "LC is not licensed or insured for plumbing, or electrical work. Counter tops, appliances and sinks are to be removed before installation". My husband and I were comfortable with Mr. Greenwell's workers removing the fixtures, and we assumed they would completely shut off the water under the sink. What reputable company would employ installers that would fail to properly shut off the water??? Lesson learned for future customers: be careful what you assume if you choose to use this company. During our extremely heated conversation, Mr. Greenwell repeatedly stated that "rule 1 is very clearly spelled out", "you signed the contract", "none of this is my problem" and "you should go and get a plumber". It became abundantly clear that Mr. Greenwell was not going to take any responsibility for his worker's error. Not only did I desperately need a plumber, because of their negligence, I now have a mitigation and restoration service. The only saving grace that afternoon was my plumber who was already scheduled to reinstall my plumbing fixtures. Tim Cook, owner of American Plumbing Service, helped me shop vac the water out from under the sink and dishwasher, he helped vacuum up as much water as he could from the sub-floor and hardwoods, and he reinstalled my plumbing fixtures. A simple, one hour appointment turned into three long hours of very messy work for him. I am so very thankful he was here. While I love my granite, I can't recommend Lifetime Cabinets and Countertops to anyone--ever. Be warned--should customers incur problems, Mr. Greenwell may become belligerent, shout at the customer, disavow any responsibility for the problem, inform them that "you signed the contract" and "it is not his problem". I guess that's his version of customer service. Stay away from this company.
