LightRx - Virginia Beach

I was receiving treatment for laser hair removal for a year on my legs, arms, underarms and bikini area. Everything was good until my last sesión in October. When receiving treatment my arms felt like they were on fire so we decided to just do arms and underarms that day. It hurt way more than it usually did. Then when I come home I realized I had blisters on my elbows! When they called to schedule my next appointment I let them know what had happened and I never got a call back. I didn’t even get an apology! I didn’t finish my treatments but I definitely won’t be going back! It was just a waste of my time and money. These area burns turned into blisters and now scars. They’re quick to answer to people with good experiences but when someone has a bad experience they don’t notice it??

The staff is very friendly and I felt they really tried to work with me to suite my needs. I never felt embarrassed or like I was going to get ripped off. I only wish there was some sort of loyalty program or benefit for repeat customers.

I love light RX, Virginia Beach, VA. The staff is very encouraging, supportive and understanding. They are patient and professional. Also they keep a smile on my face. As far as results, I have seen major results on my inner thighs after receiving Venus Legacy. I also received Sculpt on my stomach which I believe eliminated stubborn fat in my abdomen area that I couldn’t have worked off completely on my own. I would recommend the treatments and this location to any and everyone I know!

Light Rx offers great prices for the laser hair removal. The laser used doesn't hurt like other laser technologies available in the market. In fact it is pretty tolerable if you ask me. However, if you do require a numbing cream for the treatments that might hurt (Venus Viva) they provide it free of charge. The staff is very pleasant and always ready to answer any questions/ concerns.I took off one star cause my treatment is still ongoing. I will post a detailed review of my treatment at LightRx once it's completed. Hope this helps!

I love it here. I have worked mainly with one technician (Karen) for my treatment and love her. She is fast and efficient without sacrificing thoroughness or my health or safety. She also is great at setting a client at ease and keeping the conversation going. The only (very small) criticism I have is that it seems that there is not always a dedicated person to answer the phone/field calls and as a result getting in touch is tough as it is often a two-step process (one call, leave message, wait for return call). Other than that, I love this place! I have had to reschedule for many, many unexpected health issues this year and they are always gracious and accomodating!
