She did such an amazing price on my poodle! In such a timely manner! The prices and customer service was just incredible!! Definitely will be making the two hour drive to come back!

I previously wrote a great review after a such a great job was done with our Corgi. Attempted to book a second appointment today and the owner was a no show/didn’t call to cancel or reschedule. Us along with two other patrons waited for about 30 minutes with our dogs to no avail.

Lila's one of NM secret gems. She and her wonderful staff are the best in their field. My family and I have raised Lhasa Apsos for over 30 years and that is hands down the best shop for all our dog grooming needs. They are not only talented in maintaining long hair dogs,but also in close cuts. I'm talking show quality for the best prices in town.Ive tried other shops and either felt like I was being overcharged or in some cases wondered if they even knew what they were doing. This is why Lilas Plush Puppies is my only choice. More recently our newest dog is a Chow mixed breed. I trust everyone there and once again they work magic. My dog looks great. We cut him close for summer and let him grow out for winter. SPECIAL shout out to Leslie and Lila..Thank you for taking such great care of our fur babies.

I took my Morkie Pretzel in for wash/cut/nails clipped/etc…. First, I’ll start by saying that my 9 month old pup is no stranger to the groomers. He’d gone 4 previous times, to another place, and every time, something was “off”, with his look. The last time, they cut off more than half of his left eyebrow. Now, if you knew my Pretzel, you’d know that his adorably expressive eyebrows are “his thing”. Among every other thing that makes him cute, his brows really set his face off . Anyways, the previous groomer flub up, and I couldn’t bare taking him back there. Though they were nice, I wasn’t ever 100% satisfied. I understand, it’s a job, just dealing with rambunctious dogs, so I do have grace on his previous groomer. Now, for the reason I’m truly here— I cannot rave about Lila’s Plush Puppies enough! When I called to schedule the appointment, nobody answered, so I left a voicemail. Lila promptly called me back, and I didn’t have to wait too long, before she was able to get us in, which was a relief, as it’s getting so warm out, and my Morkie has a thick coat of hair. Now, the location is quite random, and although I’ve been in the area for awhile, I’ve never noticed this place. The ambiance inside is welcoming, though, and Lila is very sweet, and I didn’t cry, while leaving my dog, so I knew I had “peace” about the place. It took about as long as the previous groomer, but Omgoodness— when I set eyes on my Pretzel, he looked like a completely different dog [in the best way possible]. They truly do specialize in terrier cuts, like the business description suggests. His previous groomer would give him more of a Shih Tzu cut I know, because my aunt takes her shih tzu dogs to the groomer we previously used, and his haircut always favored theirs, but this cut was so different, and fitting for the “Yorkie” in my dog! The perfect little teddy bear cut, and they shaped his beautiful eyebrows, in a way I can only best describe as ‘heart shaped’, which totally fits his face, and sweet personality. His tail was even cut, in a style, more fit for a beautiful Maltese/Yorkie mix. Seems like Pretzel had NO issues, and only started crying, and whining, after he heard my voice, when I walked in to pick him up. He looks amazing, and I plan on always taking him to Lila’s, as long as we live in ABQ. I was actually referred to Lila’s, back in December. We were at Pet Smart, getting Pretzel’s picture taken with Santa, when we met a cute little puppy, named Gelato. The puppy parents told me how Gelato had just gotten grooomed at Lila’s for his special picture with Santa, and they were so pleased with their experience. I took down the number, but forgot, as he already had a groomer, and I consider myself ‘loyal’, when I give my support to any local business. Taking him to Lila’s was an easy choice, though, thanks to that chance meeting , at Pet Smart. Do your pup a favor, and give Lila a call!

Lila takes such good care of my pup! She looks like a whole new dog after all her pampering and grooming. Lila truly works miracles on my dogs difficult coat.
