A friend suggested trying pho while I was in New Orleans. I responded, "You mean po' boy?" It turns out that a significant number of Vietnamese people settled in NOLA after the Vietnam War, so the food must be really good, right? The appetizers were good, especially the summer rolls. However, the pho broth was just okay, and the meats were generally dry and oozing unpleasant flavor—I couldn't eat more after the first bite. The grilled pork was also a little dry. Overall, it was an okay dining experience. Vegetarian options: Available Parking: Paid street parking
The pho here is really good. The broth is incredibly savory and beefy, and the servers/owner is super nice. They unfortunately don't have my favorite beef tendon, but the rare steak and brisket were good enough to carry the soup. I highly recommend getting the Lilly roll which is the house special spring roll with shrimp, ham and fresh strawberries. It is something you cannot get anywhere else, and really you should try it if you haven't.
Me and my friends are from Mississippi and went to Lilys cafe yesterday. This was my favorite spot in New Orleans. The Lady is so nice and funny and always check up on us. This place is 100/10Food: 5/5
Great prompt service followed by great food at a reasonable price. We always feel welcomed at Lillys. wish they had a liquor license however. My Wife & I have dined here several times over the last 2 years since we retired to New Orleans, & our only suggestion to Lilly is that she should add a more robust garnish accompaniment to the entrees as we have enjoyed at other Vietnamese restaurants we used to enjoy in Denver, CO where we lived for over 40 years.
Okay…this is the place. Quick service, great menu selection, delicious food. Reasonable prices. You’ve gotta go here if: 1. You’re looking for a tasty vegan option. 2. You’re looking for a tasty Vietnamese option. 3. You’re hungry.
Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. The spicy tofu was some of the best flavored tofu I’ve ever had and the fried tofu egg rolls were crunchy, and delicious and served with a fresh plum sauce that was outstanding. The flavors were all interesting and well balanced. Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
I had high expectations because of the 4.7 Google rating, but the pho broth was more ordinary than I anticipated. However, the sugarcane drink was really delicious.Food: 3/5
This is such a delightful place with a floral ambience and good basic Vietnamese food. We enjoyed the rainbow roll, tofu bahn mi, and two bowls of pho tai nam. It’s so soothing to be able to drink beef broth and to pile on the bean sprouts and basil leaves. I’ll come back any day.Food: 4/5

I have found my new neighborhood Pho place! So excited! Ordered the shrimp pho with dumplings....delicious! Broth was so flavorful. The cafe is on the smaller size & cozy. The service was quick, efficient & friendly.
