Limerick Diner

At 1:55 P.M. we were seated immediately. A server yelled at the hostess about having three tables she hadn't even gotten to yet. Hoped she wasn't our server but when she finally showed her face at our table, 25 minutes later, I knew this wasn't going to go well. She mumbled something about the fact she thought somebody else was helping us, which is bs since we were between other tables she had. It can't get worse, right?! Maybe not worse, but certainly didn't get better. Took 15 minutes to get cold spaghetti and cold french toast. Room temperature whipped butter didn't melt on the inch think French toast. *sigh* I will say she was very quick to bring the check. When checking out, a different hostess, possibly the manager was trying to cash out the servers. The tone she took with the servers wasn't appropriate for the front counter. Ran out of there as quickly as I could. Won't be back.

Not a bad diner at all. One of the few places I've found here that actually had grits! For a southern boy like me, grits are essential for a good breakfast. Great service and a quaint, classic diner feel. Will come back and recommend to others.

Overall acceptable experience. The home fries need help, basically boiled potatoes, ever so slightly treated to a fry pan. No onions (in spite of explicitly asking for them), no seasoning. Pretty bland. Nothing stood out as great. Nothing was terrible either.

Took 5 minutes just to be seated with no one in front of me then waited 10 minutes and wait staff ever showed up. 6 months ago there food made me sick. I figured I give them another chance. Needless to say a big mistake. They have lost my business forever. Eat here at your own risk. Consider yourself warned.

Great dinner. Had a wonderful breakfast. There were many local power outages due to snow storm. The line was out the door. They moved s large influx of people efficiently. Our waitress was very busy, but very pleasant and attentive. Food was slightly slow coming out of the kitchen, but was wonderful. The whole staff handled the large crowd with ease.
