I received my CPAP machine from lincare this past February as they were contracted with my insurance company Molina marketplace therefore I've had my machine for a little over 8 months I was under the assumption that my insurance company paid for the machine and everything was taken care of as I haven't heard otherwise I get a call last Friday from lincare saying we are coming to pick up your machine will you be home I said excuse me they said well we are no longer in contract with Molina marketplace and you need to either give us $411 by today where we're coming to take the machine I said oh no you're not just to say I have not received any thing in writing from them stating there was an issue a phone call and email or text until last Friday so I have been going back and forth with the insurance company and lincare they are absolutely horrible horrible horrible do not do business with them furthermore I told them if I needed to have my attorney contact them I will do so. For those of us that use CPAP machines that's like someone who needs oxygen to breathe they are very uncaring do not do business with this company they are absolutely horrific.
When you see ratings as low as Lincare has RUN! I use both O2 concentrators stationary and portable and CPAP supplies provided by Lincare. They often ship CPAP supplies that I did not order, make billing errors that take forever to correct, and provide unacceptable service on repair of concentrators. One person says do A,B and C. The next says not A,B and C as we NEVER do A,B and C; do X,Y and Z. In desperation you contact the "patient" advocate who says they ALWAYS do A,B and C and she will "reach out" send emails to the necessary office in the giant bureaucracy to fix the problem. Days later X, Y and Z arrives past the deadline to save your trip. And best of all each call to Lincare is greeted with the same auto attendant system and 20 minute wait time often followed by a transfer to the Lincare "call center" where they promise a return call which never happens.
They had a security breach last Sept 10th and figured that out on Sept 26th 2021 and didnt block it until Sept 29th then send out a letter in 2022 saying they fixed/ reviewed all data April 20th 2022 and that it was a problem for them to research and resolve but they knew they had to do it by law. WTH!!
Never can get anyone to answer or return calls. Don't get any monthly statements or communication with problems. Items my insurance says I am eligible for are never sent or not on schedule. Waited 4 months to figure out why my insurance was not paying to find out they were waiting on Lincare to send info. No one ever contacted me. Just poor customer service overall.
If there was a "negative 10" star review, I would have picked that one. When you are navigating a scary medical event, or you're in the middle of a serious respiratory illness and need medical equipment that could be a life or death situation, you want a company that has empathy, is professional, and is really good at what they are in the business to do....Lincare is NOT that company. Unprofessional and incompetent doesn't even begin to cover it. If it wasn't such a serious matter, it would be laughable that this is their stated mission: "Lincare's mission is to set the standard for excellence, transforming the way respiratory care is delivered in the home." Find another company to work with - stay away from this one.
This is the worst company that I have had to deal with..New to the oxygen use due to covid .. They were supposed to come out and pickup 2 tanks and leave me with 3. They wanted to make sure that we would be at home all day Monday because they could not give us a time period. No one never showed up, nor not even a call to say they would not make it Monday.. called after hours, had to wait 20 minutes before someone even picked up the phone. Was put on hold. They hung up on us..Called Tuesday morning. Oh, we will get someone out there today...here it is 5:30,and no one still.. an.No wonder they have such a bad rating...undependable...worst worst company...
Terrible service. I was supposed to have a wheelchair at the rehab facility before I was discharged. They brought the wrong size. Then, they said they would get the correct size and deliver it to my house. The wheelchair never arrived. When I would call to inquire, they would simply say that they didn't have it. No apologies, no attempt to make things better. They would only say that they didn't have it and maybe it would be delivered the next day or the next day or the next day. I do not recommend working with this company.
Terrible, Terrible and Terrible!!!! From reception to delivery! I can't believe that with the increasing business that they have from Covid patients they can't pay people enough to provide great compassionate and professional customer service. Almost all doctors I have met says they suck and they do!
My father’s oxygen concentrator went out on a Saturday night at 7pm. The technician on call was there replacing the machine within less than one hour. My parents have had excellent service from Lincare.
Beyond horrible! A rating of 1 star is far too much for this company. I can’t believe the people there still have jobs. Not one positive interaction over the past year with this company. They treat you as if you are a bother to them every time you call or have to deal with them. Horrible horrible customer service. Rude rude staff. The most uncaring and unprofessional service I’ve experienced ever!
