I have been a piano student of Dr. Jose Bevia for about two years, following studying with a teacher from my hometown for six years. Despite the distance Lindeblad is from where I live(about 45 minutes) the music instruction here has been absolutely worth it. Along with the multitude of performance opportunities, the education has been nothing less than exceptional. Dr. Jose cares for all of his students and is extremely well qualified. He has a deep understanding of the artistry and technique it takes to be a great pianist and incorporates music theory into his lessons. I have received great performance advice from him. In my time here, I have gained a more profound understanding and appreciation of musical composition, and have been able to learn at an accelerated pace.

Speaking as a soon to be former student, I have always fallen in love with the musical journey made possible by Lindeblad. I can only say good things about my positive experience here. I was under the tutelage of Ms. Tina for the past couple of years for violin. She brings an amazing depth and breadth of knowledge into her musical lessons. I always have fun playing duets or practicing difficult pieces with her. I'm sure I will still draw from her many lessons as I begin my own journey. Staff is completely wonderful and very accommodating of your schedule. You will be hard pressed to find a better culture elsewhere. Lindeblad is really so much more than a school, they really are like friends and family at this point. Best investment I every made in myself. Highly recommend!!!

My daughter started piano lessons at 6 years old and has been with this school for 5 years now. It's kind of far for us (45 min drive) but we can't find another school with better teachers and programs. We love the school!
My daughter have had lessons with different piano and voice teachers and they are all very professional. The school offers a lot of opportunities for students to perform like the monthly performance workshop, annual studio recital, bi-annual school recital at Montclair University. We find these very helpful for my daughter to gain experience on stage.
On top of that, there are different school competitions for different levels of students. The Piano Fest in Nov is for students to compete with their own age group. The Concerto Competition in Feb for winners to perform with orchestra in NYC in March. The Carnegie Hall Student Showcase Competition in April for winners to perform in Carnegie Hall in June.
This is a top-notch school and that explains why it grows so fast in the past few years!

My son has been attending piano lessons at Lindeblad School of Music for 3 years now. The faculty is very talented and passionate about music and their students. We are very privileged to have our son to be under the tutelage of Mr Euntaek, an outstanding teacher and accomplished musician. While focusing on the technical aspect of playing an instrument, he truly pushes the boundaries of one's thinking that cultivates a pure appreciation of music. In addition to participating in the RCM program (one of the many programs the school administers), my son was also able to pick up a second instrument at his school in a short span of time, thanks to the solid music foundation he gained here. Needless to say, the school's administration is highly professional and friendly.
We would highly recommend this school to families looking to explore opportunities for their children's music career!

My son started piano lessons at Lindeblad when he was 3 years old. He is now 8 and is still attending. He also takes a music theory class now. We love all of the teachers and staff there, they are like family to us. I would highly recommend Lindeblad if you are looking for a music school, whatever the instrument is. Everyone is very professional and my son has been thriving in his music instruction.
