Beautiful store. Super friendly customer service. This is a true made in Maine store with a great variety of products. All seem high quality with artistic characteristics. I over heard the employee trying to contact one of the artists of a product to do a customer design for a guys wife. Simply great. I also found one of the cheapest prices on a harbor bell compared to any store we have seen them at.

I was searching for a local store to create a welcome gift for a cooperate meeting. Made in Maine was so helpful. The attendees were so impressed with the gift bag. Made in Maine's care and thoughtfulness made an impression. The items in the bag were high quality and locally sourced. The staff was friendly and helpful. Above and beyond- that was my experience.

Rude associate. Had to insist that she gets the item I wished to purchase from the window. She first declined to do so saying there were none in the shop. She then was incredibly rude and unkind when I expressed a disability related need. She incorrectly said that Maine law did not cover such needs when indeed Maine has had bathroom access laws since 2009 for those with qualifying conditions. But her lecture on how I should manage my disability was beyond the pale. Needless to say I left quickly and a neighboring business allowed me to use their employee restroom. If you are disabled do not patronize this business. Edit: The business owner does not seem to understand the statute. Section B requires that 3 employees be working which there weren't. Section E allows businesses not to provide access if it is unsafe to do so which the owner states it is. All other criteria were met.The owner seems more concerned with her liability which the statute specifically excludes than her employees extreme rudeness.

This is my kind of store! I totally loved it. You can find fun Maine decor and souvenirs. The store was very cute and friendly employees.

Phenomenal store: great atmosphere, friendly customer service, and a fantastic selection of made-in-Maine goods. If you're looking to shop somewhere that sums up what makes this state great, you can't do better than this.

What a wonderful store! Step through this door and get a true Maine experience. Owned, operated, and inspired by local Mainers their artists, every thing in this store is worth buying. We did some last minute shopping for Christmas gifts. Not only was Marie kind enough to keep the store open a few minutes late to let us browse, she wrapped our gifts perfectly and was so nice in answering our questions. 10/10 would recommend!
