Lisa Saponaro, PhD Inc

I had Dr.Saponaro as my Mental Health Counseling Supervisor and I learned a lot from her. Dr. Saponaro has a wide range of skills and expertise and was able to provide clear guidance on every issue that we were facing. We also did small group therapy sessions in which she was really able to provide insight and challenge those thoughts and behaviors that are self-defeating. I really recommend her if you choose to work with her as either a clinical supervisor or therapist. Great experience!!

Throughly enjoyed my time with Dr. Saponaro. I would recommend her to anyone! Great teacher and she has always been there for me when I needed help.

When you are hurting on the inside and no one can really see it you need a deeply empathetic person to help you. Lisa is such a person. She loves what she does. As a working mom, an animal lover and a passionate advocate for social justice she exemplifies the best of her profession

I had Dr.Saponaro as my supervisor for practicum in the mental health counseling program at NSU. During triadic and group sessions, Dr. Saponaro has provided me with both guidance and insight for any issues or concerns with her expansive clinical knowledge and experience. I have learned to better adapt to challenges and to think outside of the box. Therefore, my experience with her has been nothing short of rewarding. I have seen myself grow on multiple levels: academic, professional, and personal. I would highly recommend working with her.

I have worked with Dr. Saponaro for over eight years and am extremely impressed by her. She is straightforward and direct while also being warm and empathic. She is one of the most competent psychologists I know and I highly recommend her.
