The spring rolls! The best all of us have ever had. We ordered 4 dishes, 2 of which are the Saigon Special and it came with three types of skewers, salad, a spring roll and noodles. All of it was really good. Walking in, it feels like a family owned restaurant with great friendly services. The soups we ordered were different than what we expected but was still soothing. I would definitely go back for the spring rolls!
I had never tried Pho before, but was looking for something warm and spicy to battle this chilly weather we’re having. I ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up my food the owner was so incredibly friendly. He told me about how it gets chilly in Vietnam in the evenings and they’ll make their broth spicy to warm them up. The food was incredible, spicy enough to warm you from the inside and so very flavorful. I will definitely be back.
Tell everyone!!! Authentic home style viet food: great vegetarian menu. Those veggie spring rolls, fresh made daily, will blow your mind. Order early - they often sell out!Food: 5/5
We had a delicious, delightful late lunch/early dinner. Everything was beautifully prepared and very tasty! If we lived closer we'd be regulars!
Disappointed. Food was not good at all. Ordered take out. Had shrimp fried rice and vegetables egg rolls. The service is great, they were polite and nice. But I guess I had better expectations for the food. Fried rice was very greasy and they cut up shrimp in tiny pieces and mix with rice, food was very bland, no flavor , just very oily and barely any veggies in the rice. The egg roll was okay. To be honest ,I had better Vietnamese food and this one wasn't as good. I decided to try it out and had higher expectation. But won't go back there wasn't worth the $20
Best Vietnamese spring rolls in the area, phenomenal Vietnamese soups and the kindest owners. I love the spicy beef noodle soup and my husband the pho. Such a treasure of a place. Very old fashioned and traditional.Food: 5/5
This is not a restaurant, you are a guest at the home of a Vietnamese couple. This small restaurant gives you the impression you are eating at someone's home. The food is very flavorful. The Pho broth is seasoned and full of herbs, the beef tripe isn't overcooked and chewy, it is just right. The Vietnamese pancake is absolutely delicious with bits of pork and shrimp and the dipping sauce elevates the flavor even further. The squid special with veggies is very tasty, nutritious, and filling. Everything tastes fresh! Although the wait for takeout was a bit long, I cannot fault the owner and his wife because the two of them run the entire restaurant together. They were very polite and made sure my order was perfect by checking the contents thoroughly. Vegetarian options: Last page of the menu is dedicated to vegetarian options. My Family and I have loved this fantastic restaurant for more than 30 yrs! Wonderful food at a great price. The quality of ingredients and the skill in the kitchen is amazing for the price point. Lovely family who owns the place as well. Wish they had later hours but worth going at ANY time! Parking: Easy parking across the street in two directions Wheelchair accessibility: You can wheel in right from the sidewalk, no stairs to cope with at all
Absolutely love this restaurant, the Vietnamese food is arguably the best in the Philly area. The Spring rolls literally to die for - 11/10 recommend. The owners are also absolutely lovely people, very kind and love to have a conversation. Go here! You won’t regret it!
Amazing Vietnamese gem in Philadelphia / Main Line area. Very special and unique family run atmosphere with excellent, authentic home cooked Vietnamese fare. Cannot be missed. All dishes are fresh and delicious - every single dish they serve is cooked to order. It’s all amazing but I suggest you do not miss out on; - fried spring rolls -Pho stews / soups - Bun noodle dishes any variety - grilled meat stuffed grape leaves - grilled meat platters - crab soup yes!! Try it - Vietnamese crepe with shrimp and pork. Tell the owner Edward that Michael and Barbara’s son sent you ! and have a good chat with him if it’s slow.. Enjoy.
