Beautiful area, nice place for bike rides with on road or trail experiences. For mountain bikers, there are some nice ridge runs/drops with varying degrees of difficulty off of the main trails. Good spots for family picnics, fishing areas,  and hikes. Great place to spend a day with friends, family, or on a solo expedition.

What can I say about this place? It's an hour and a half from my house but it has become a tradition for my son and I to go several times a year. It's perfect! The lake is huge and the staff and guess' are friendly. Short and sweet review. Would highly reccomended this place.

I am an avid hiker!! Loch Raven is my favorite , I can take the same trail each time and find a new favorite spot along the way. I love to feed the ducks before I start my hike. It's very tranquil and it is very very safe. The views are more than peaceful!

Loch Raven Watershed..very serenic, lovely and GOD is pleased. So excited about the work to make improvements but on the weekend the Lake is closed and that is the Peace of it. The walk to the Lake is doable if one is in condition to take a hike.

I've been going to Loch Raven since I was knee high to a grasshopper!  This visit was the 2nd time at the fishing area where you can rent boats and buy bait. I just go for the tranquility.  I brought my little travel companion Foxy with me along with my crafting supplies. I make pinecone wreath and just sitting out in nature is just plain out good for the soul. Met another artist there wanting to share the picnic table with me as he was a naturalist painter. Looking for some peace and quiet?? Head on over to Loch Raven and renew your soul!
