Small pond open for fishing across the parking lot. Mainly bluegill and a few bass. Usually have the place to yourself. Don't confuse the pond with the drainage ditch in front of the house next to the street. Follow the gravel road down the hill.

This could be a better place to take a nice trail hike, but they don't mow the grass more than 1 or 2 times a year.  There is a beautiful sunflower farm in the back, but since the trail isn't well kept, it can be hard to get to.  Not recommended for trail running.

We walk on the linear trail that ends next to the Hugg-Thomas. Wish it had trails.
