Fountain Rock Park & Nature Center

Great shaded large playground with picnic space. Plus restrooms off the nature center and great people that run the nature center. Short walk to the quarry which is full of turtles. My kids love it.

Nice little park. Particularly good for kids. Has a modern playground, picnic tables, pavilion, short, easy trails, ponds. There's also a nature center open on weekends but closed when I was there.

Great place to take the kids to run around and/or for a picnic! Don't forget to bring some quarters and ziploc bags to feed the turtles, fish and birds 😊

Open on the weekends, a compact but fun nature center with plenty to offer kids of many ages. There are animals, many learning areas, and even some archaeological finds on display. Some Parks and Recreation activities are held here. My kids have always enjoyed themselves here, and I enjoy visiting, too.

Nice people but not a lot. Lots of trails and neatly maintained. Good for family and friends fun
