Lompoc Cafe

Having just arrived in Bar Harbor and settled in, I read Google restaurant reviews and decided to give Lompoc Cafe a try as it was near my Inn. A bit funky inside, a lot noisy. My Fishwich was unusual in flavor, and altho I have never had Hake, and certainly not w/sweet relish...it didn't work for me at all. The side salad was fine w/shallott vinaigrette was but unremarkable in flavor. My friend had a bowl of chowder, also unremarkable, thin, with little seafood and mostly potatoes...very disappointing. I'm going to skip pub food this trip and dine at finer establishments...it's worth the price.

The restaurant is so nice, a bit cozy. The food is delicious, starting with the appetizers, the pizza, everything is so good here. And when is time for the bar by itself is so nice, sometimes there are music bands. The cocktails are so good, and the people are so nice. It's nice to spend some time here with friends.

Stay Away!!! The bar tender was rude and really ruined our experience. We were here with friends for a native festival and were treated unfairly and I believe racism played a large part. Very upsetting.

Never had a bad meal here. Loved the terrace and being back tucked away from main street and the crowds. This was the bar to go to and the place to get a meal during my summer as a park ranger. Good vibe and bar options.

often when you hear best ever. you think yeah right. but this was hands down best mac and cheese ever. very adult and creamy. lemonade was so good home made
