The Thirsty Whale

I stayed at Bar Harbor during my mini vacation with my boyfriend and out of all the restaurants and bars that we visited while there, this one was our absolute favorite. The Thirsty Whale is packed tavern so the first time we decided to go there the wait was about an hour so we needed up not going there. But the second time we tried going there the waiting time was less and the host gave us the option of sitting at the bar and so we took it. Let me jus say that the drinks there are served extremely well, this being that unlike most aces their alcoholic drinks are not watered down at all.( which is great!!) I ordered the seafood sampler and it was delicious!!!!! Also prices are not expensive! Great place!!!

Great local spot. Went in early May, before heavy tourist season and didn’t wait for a table. Reasonable prices in a pub atmosphere if you’re about that. Lobster roll was fine, and the beers were cold.

Goof pub food selection! Just about every kind of liquor on the shelf. Server was very nice and welcoming! It's quaint but comfortable. Their amber ale on draught was excellent!

Nice Local Bar/Restaurant atmosphere. I didn't have any food there. Orders being served from what I could see looked very nice and appetizing. Nice Local Beers on Tap. Nicole the Bartender was very Pleasant and attentive. I would recommend this place to any one that visits the Center in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Fantastic food and drinks. Very reasonable prices. Super friendly Waiter by the name of Rob. Great guy very personable and efficient. We will be back .
