Let me start out by saying that I have been going to this office for 8+ years. Gordon Day is awesome and that is why I continued to go, but every single time I went in for an appointment I was always bothered by how long the wait was. 15 minutes was a good wait time in this office which is not normal. Today, I took my daughter in to see Dr. Orme (because of my insurance, she was required to see him for her first visit). We originally had an appointment at a later date, but I asked to be on a cancellation list and got a phone call at 9:15 saying they had a cancellation at 10:00. I rushed to pick my daughter up from school and get her there on time, only to wait 50 minutes for her to be called back. Every one else in the waiting room had been taken back. People who arrived long after me had come and gone, so I asked the receptionist what the problem was. She said that we would be the next ones called back since they were just “waiting for a room to open up.” Two more patients were called back right after that, but not us! After almost an entire hour had passed... a medical assistant came out for us. He asked us how we were, to which I said “I’m pissed actually.” He then goes on to tell me that the doctor had been held up in a room with another patient for that entire time... for a full 50 minutes, yet 10 patients had come and gone since I got there?! Weird. He then goes out to get the doctor and once they are outside of the door, I can hear him saying that I was “cussing (by saying “pissed”) and really upset about waiting”. The staff is unprofessional to say the least. And after all these years of unreasonable wait times, I am happy to say that we will not be returning. If you want an office who respects YOUR time (not just their own) then this office is certainly NOT for you.

I got a gnarly sunburn that left a sunspot that I made way worse by scratching at it. I dealt with for a year before going to see Dr. Stephen Anderson at Lone Peak Dermatology. He told me how much it would cost, I set an appointment for the next day, he numbed it, removed it, and cauterized it. I paid exactly what he said it would cost and it healed up very nicely! Thanks Stephen!

Zero respect for your time. Went to get a mole looked at, waited 45+ minutes for my appt (just with the PA, not even the doctor). Went back for a follow up appointment, and after waiting 45 minutes again, just ended up leaving and will not be returning. Receptionist called me 50 minutes after my appointment time asking where I was, I was like, um, my appt was about an hour ago. It's disrespectful to expect patients to just sit around for an hour after their appointment time.

Dr Stephen Anderson is the best! My boys have had a wonderful experience with him. He's great at explaining and sharing his advice. He takes his time to listen and really gets to know the patient. I would highly recommend him!

I recently tried to obtain accutane for acne. To get accutane, one must answer questions on the Ipledge website before getting the prescription filled. The staff entered my information incorrectly into the system. This resulted in me answering the questions incorrectly. I sat at a pharmacy for over 1 ½ hours waiting for them to fix it. It took 7 phone calls before someone answered my questions about this issue. I finally had to go to work and gave up that day. The next day, they got the first problem fixed and they forgot to send a prior authorization letter to my insurance. This resulted in me sitting at the pharmacy again and no one at Lone Peak would take my call. I left a voicemail and had to go to work. I really wish they cared about their clients enough to get the paperwork taken care of before they hand someone a prescription. No one should have to go to the pharmacy multiple times for nothing. I should not have to call and beg them to do their jobs.
