The Los Angeles River Center Gardens is located adjacent to the Los Angeles & Arroyo Seco River. Formerly the site of Lawry's California Center. On the corner of San Fernando Road and Avenue 26. (My ex lived nearby 😎). It is open daily, Sunrise 🌅 to Sunset 🌇.
People also have weddings, parties, etc. Bars available when serving alcohol or drinks in general. Great photo 📸 shot spots. Water fountain ⛲.
This is also a great place for bikers be because they have a bike repair station, racks, picnic tables.
Connects you to Griffith and Elysian Parks.

In the middle of the hustle and bustle and skyscrapers near downtown Los Angeles, you will find this hidden gem. Shady trees, climbing vegetation on the front of the building (almost grown over the letters of the sign identifying it), art and beautiful shrubbery and flowers.
The mission style grounds are a celebration of the "..the eleven miles of natural river where reeds, willows, mulefat, and native riparian plants have returned. The self-guided exhibit describes the history of the Los Angeles River, its current status, and a vision for the River’s future."
It is a wonderful place to visit, you can stop thinking about life and other things and just enjoy the beauty of it all. There is a running water fountain, park benches, a picnic table, and lawn area.
Open Monday-Friday 9-5. But check before you go, it may be closed for private event.

Indigenous Wellness Collective holds bi-weekly workshops in English and Spanish every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month during the 2018 calendar year and hopefully beyond. The atrium has beautiful high ceilings and gentle lighting. We enjoy the serenity of the fountains and bustling foliage of the landscape. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you MRCA and the river center for welcoming our collective to the space.

This is a nice neighborhood park to visit or eat lunch here. Nice restrooms with full mirrors. Nice landscaping and Spanish colonial buildings with interesting displays inside. They even have a tennis court at the far end.

Probably a decent part for events. But if you want to have a nice stroll or walking around the park is not very large and it doesn't have much interest
