REI

REI is always great to visit. Plenty of parking at this location. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Great quality products at good prices but can be a little too expensive for my needs.

Talked with 3 different staff today about 3 completely different activities and equipment and all of them were exceptionally knowledgeable and super friendly. 😊

I'd drive 8 miles south to the REI near Topanga Canyon if you're a member - larger store, better service; or Santa Monica Mountains Cyclery in Woodland Hills. The store here is tiny, and the service work here took longer than originally mentioned and the work completed was very haphazard. The passive aggressive attitudes of the bike technicians were so odorous - it really didn't used to be like this a couple of years ago. Inconsistent service across the years at this location that's really gotten terrible recently. Wonder if there's new management, or the staff have gotten lazy. Head to REI in Woodland Hills to save yourself the bother of incompetence and attitudes at this location.

Awesome store. High quality products and helpful employees. It's not cheap, though.
